i recieved this book this morning from mango. i have never joined them!!! so am i right in thinking i can ring them and they will cancel?Bad mother to 2!

I too have been sent the book
I emailed them on 11 October & this was the reply:
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your e-mail.
The account was opened on the 22nd September 2006 using e-mail address ********** and giving date of birth 01.01.1950.
I have arranged to have your details removed from our files, please discard any further mailings you may receive whilst our records are being updated.
We trust that this now clarifies the matter for you.

I got a book a while back in my son's name, he was 15 at the time. I told him he shouldn't order anything over the internet and if there was any ordering to be done then I would do it. He was adament he hadn't ordered anything.
I phoned them, they cancelled membership and I've heard nothing since.0 -
right, i have emailed them after seeing another post on mse. i have also informed watchdog and trading standerds as it seems this scam has been going on for months! they are tricking people into activating a membership and i for one will not have it. i sent a very legally worded email and i hpoe thats the last i hear of mango!Bad mother to 2!

Can anybody tell me the number as they have just sent me a bill for £16.99 for just the first book. When i tried to ring them i couldnt get through to anyone it was just automated.

Hi I also recieved a book from them yesterday claiming I owe them £0.99 but if i want to return the book I have to send them £3!it's a complete scam please beware do not pay the 99p sign up online or phone them and cancel.:mad:half scottish half italian :100%moneysaver0
