  • guys i hate to tell evertyone but the cheapest is indeed weightoncoin. Before the price increase from august they were actually one of the priciest, but since that rise their prices havent skyrocketed like all the other websites.

one ounce can still be bought for £20, everywhere else is well above that price

thats where i buy my silver from, and it is the cheapest in the UK, bar none.

they display their available quantities, which is another positive thing...

as for me i am out of the silver game so i don't mind telling eveyone where the best place is, as i kept it a bit schtum

Thanks for that. I wish I knew about them sooner. I have just ordered from another place that is outside the UK, so do not know if it will get through customs.

I may try weightoncoin next time depending on how my first order goes.

Again it is not worth ordering just a few silver coins, a tube a 20 or 25 works out cost effective with delivery charges.

I want to put all my paper investments into hard assets over the next year or so.

I just hope the manipulation does not come to an end too soon. What will be the freemarket price of silver when the price suppression is over?
  • The cheapest place overall to buy silver is ebay.

Many do not like it, thinking there is risk involved.

I say the risk of not getting your silver is more from ordering from a dealer outside the UK and customs intercepting your bullion.

Yes ebay can be good. I say just try and get your hands on real silver bullion anyway you can while these low prices are still with us.

Do not worry about saving the odd couple of pounds just try and get it ASAP.

I was saying the same thing a few weeks ago now look how much the price has gone up.

Looks like it will continue going up like this for a long time yet. We are nowhere near the top.

A good indication to me that we are near the top is when the silver price is the first thing talked about on the news and front page of all the papers.

If you buy a silver mine it will give you a share of the silver they produce. Fresnillo produces 43 million ounces of silver a year.
Theres 717m shares total so thats 17 shares to gain 1 ounce per year. Shares fell as low as 1 pound but are now 12.57 each.
So compared to buying retail as above you'd earn back your money after ten years as a bonus they mine gold plus pay a dividend

Hocschild produces 26.3 million ounces of silver per year. 338m shares so you need 13 shares to get your 1 ounce a year. Shares were 230p each this may but are 485p now.

13 Shares would cost 62 pounds, gives you 1 ounce a year in silver 'earnings ' so thats just over 3 years to get your money back by owning the mine instead of buying its produce from a shop after tax, costs and delivery added on - much more profitable for anyone investing 5 to 10 years imo

The even cheaper way to get silver is by exchanging paper usa dollars for silver usa coins, Im not sure if any other country still has circulated silver coins with a metal content exceeding the face value

Does anyone know of Silver bullion/coin dealers in Bruges, Aachen or Cologne..?
Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

The maples were £20 at time of posting, but as the price of silver gone up you will be hard pressed to buy at £20 now.

Last month they are £18 an ounce, looks like they too have jacked the prices up.

So there is no cheap silver anywhere
