old ground coffee and orangel peel, spread it around your boundaries. Environmentally friendly, and works on most cats- they dislike the smell....0

I don't understand how you could even joke about something like that.

We've had that done to us, if I had ever found out who it was I would repay them in kind ( as clever as my cat is, he can't poo through letter boxes)0 -

I hate the way my lovely newly dug borders become cat toilets. Then, I get it on my gardening gloves when I dig. Used to garden without gloves on but thats way to revolting to comprehend now. Dog owners are fined if they don't pick up theirs dog's poo from a public pavement. Yet, the cats who live next door but one are allowed onto my property to dig in my garden and leave their faeces wherever they like. Don't know the answer but I'm so chuffed because the lady from next door but one is moving on 2nd November! Bet its just a matter of time before another cat adopts my garden as its loo. Along with the nasty poo issue, cats also catch the frogs from my pond and the birds from the garden. Whilst I know they give great comfort to many people, they also cause great deal of distress to many gardeners and nature lovers. It does annoy me that my garden is allowed to be a cat toilet and hunting ground but that there is nothing I can legally do about it.MFW Challenge 2019 - £2,420 / £2,420 - 100% :T0

I have to agree with you. Not everyone is a cat fan and I too have had a poop on the gloves type issue.. along with mowing it up and the stench is horrendous!0 -

I doubt that will happen, he doesn't roam quite that far.0 -
I have a cat, but I also have the problem of cats messing in my garden, and digging up plants.
(my cat or others i don't know). So I understand the nuisance.
But what is the answer from a cat owners point of view.
Keeping them in always or killing them seems a bit harsh.
My cat is now 20 years old, and so doesn't have too long left. I won't have another.0
