According to Money Mail (Wed 9th Feb 2005), First Direct will launch its internet-based cash mini E-Isa at 6.25% later this month. Although, this rate is only payable for 8 months. First Direct's ISA is not a Stakeholder Standard ISA, as they do not guarantee that interest rates will be no less than 1% below the BoE Base Rate. Their other restrictions may also prevent it from being Stakeholder standard.
