Well done! A low maintenance garden sounds fantastic.

    Hi everyone

Money gifted to me from my gran so chucked it straight into the garden pot as well as all sales from vinted and surveys from last month have been put away there as well so I have £1598.87 stashed away for the garden fund.

My gran loved her gardens so it's only fitting that I spend it on mine to make it a low maintenance pretty one.

Still plodding on with surveys and vinted so hopefully I'll have enough to but the boys their suitcases this month.

Had made £70 on fb over the weekend which went straight to the garden pot

Oh and I've ordered my dress for abbie's wedding as well as my shoes so thats something else out of the way

The slabs have been ordered an delivered.

Work begins next weekend.  Hubby's friend who is a landscaper is starting the work next weekend.

Hubby is a mechanic and used to be a Audi technician and has done work and serviced his friends many Audi's and always under charged him cause that's what friends do, like a annual service he would charge him £80 this included oil and filter.  Audi could be as much as £249 for the same

Hubby's friend called last night and informed us that his rate is £250 a day and it'll take 4 days so that's £1000 I mean !!!!!!.  Hubby is furious but we are in it now.  I told hubby no more with the mates rates if they want their car fixed for serviced they can take it to a dealership if they aren't happy with the price being quoted.

I has placed the order via my credit card and straight away paid £1000 off it as i thought hubby's friend 's rate was £150 like last time, so kept some money in the bank just as well I did.

And I've told hubby the reason his friend is available next weekend is because no one can afford him

right I feel better for getting this out there now just need to get on with it and start hustling even more.

So today I've decluttered my garden, I've cleared the little plastic shed and washed it down and this will being going out to my daughter's house along with the lawnmower and strimmer so more things out of my shed.

Also washed down and table set and will get this sold but need to get it out the back garden which will be a bit of a faff

and the garden bin will be getting returned to the council as i will have no more grass to cut woo hoo one less bin in my household ..........it's the small things

My brother is coming round later to help me move the teepee as well as the little plastic shed because my hubby seems to be a wet blanket at the moment and seems to be overwhelmed at the moment with what needs doing....................not helpful at all

£250 a day 😱 Is that just labour? Definitely your hubby should say no more mates rates on the service.

    £250 a day is extortion.

It always amazes me how people expect mates rates but then don't give them out. There's making money and then there's taking the p***..
