I bet that’s stressful having the inspections. At least it’s done now.

What would you like to do if you were not child minding?
I’m volunteer at my local community centre and my community worker reckons I have what it takes  to be a community worker.  I’m weighing it up as it’s university etc.  just been thinking when the youngest goes to high school in 2.5 years do I still continue childminding or not as I’ve been doing it for 14 years now and to be honest the passion isn’t there any more it’s all paperwork which is a shame xx

    Morning

all my kids are off sick there seems to be quite a few kids off with the cold or a dreadful cough so been tinkering about with the finances To see how quickly I can clear this card.

balance was £2988.43 and I’ve sent £337.39 towards my card today.

Would have been more as there is not council tax this month but had to pay £145 for my sons math camp in March as he’s studying higher maths this year so hopefully it is money well spent.  It’s a long weekend away plus their meals, a day out and a hoodie.  He’s seems excited about it.

so I’ve done my spreadsheet and I’ve calculated that this card will be cleared by the first week in March (I get paid a week after I’ve submitted my monthly invoice to the council for the month prior) so I’m very pleased this card will be gone and never to get that high again.

I do have another card with a balance on it but it’s at 0% til next April so I’m concentrating on the one that charged interest.

I want to check in on my sofa account to see what is outstanding on that.  I can feel the debt repayment mojo coming back.

submitted my meter readings today and I owe them an extra £20 which is fine considering prices went up in January and we had that horrible cold snap so that’s a winner

And here’s my totals from my side hustles last month

    £65.70 on vinted
    £52.07 from PA / Qmee
    £50.50 from topcashbach

so £168.27 which has been put in a separate savings account for any additional holidays spends such as parking, visas, lounge etc which means all this will be for free

aim to hit £50 in the surveys this month as well as trying to get £60 on vinted which means I need to go through all my stuff and see what I can sell I’m on a mission

have a pair of uggs brand new in their box that I’m too scared to wear in case I wreck them as they are tan colour so might put them on eBay

No point in keeping the Uggs if you wont wear them :)
