I'm here just having a time of it
Tuesday I get a phone call from eldest sons school saying he has been in close contact with someone who has tested postive for COVID................you can imagine how peeved I am.
He is self isolating in his room poor soul, as soon as Abbie found out she packed her bags and moved into my grans house so at least if the household needs to quarantine I know she is safe as she's still fighting her kidney infection and I know my gran will be taken care of if I can't leave the house
Two different departments gave me advise on my childminding business, one said as long as I have my covid-19 procedures in place arounf the house which i already have then i can continue to work. messaged all my parents to say I could remain open only to get a phone call on TUesay at 8pm saying no I have to close therefore losing two weeks money which is a lot.
The kick in the teeth is I can't apply for the self-isolation grant as its not be thats self-isolating even tho the health board have advised me to close..........so I'm now mega peeved.
Me closing won't affect the money situation until next month as council and college pay me in arrears. So I'm going to continue to pay off this card as much as I can until Dec 1st then I'll focus on the xmas shopping. Good job I did a massive food shop last week so freezer and cupboards are still full so thats something.
Sent £5.03 towards the card today so I'm hoping to be under another hundred bracket by the friday.
Been to the gym this morning, jobs for today is to bleach the bathroom and the hallway. This has been done since Xander got sent home and I'll continue to do this until we are all safe.
Right off to get my hair dried and then nip up and check on my gran then pick KK up from school xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.055 -
Oh no what a nightmare. My DD had to isolate as she’d been working with someone with Covid. She tested negative thankfully. Good job you’re on top of the finances or it could be worse. Sending you a virtual hug xI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

He's doing ok he's only allowed out his room except to go to the bathroom and he wipes everything he's touched with the disinfectant wipes.
He's got his school work, his xbox, his phone and his tv so he's entertained and he's being fed so he'll be fine xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.055 -

Oh that's so frustrating. Hope he doesn't get it and you can open up again soonest."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1
