Abba1772's Debt Free Diary

evening
Waiting on my dinner so thought I would pop on here. We are having roast turkey wrapped in bacon with roast potatoes carrots, peas and yorkshire puddings, all from the freezer.
Todays been a mixed bag, abbie's been down as missing boyfriend completely understandable but it's so hard to get someone out their low mood. we took a walk to the grandparents houses with a easter card and popped it through their door and chatted to them from a safe distance.
Had to remind Abbie to get ready for work which was a nighmare and tbh I saw this coming but its still so frustrating. Gets to her work and she starts having a panic attack in the car at this point I've had enough of her self wallowing and get out the car for some space. Ended up back in the car and telling her to quit it yes I know tough love but it needs done sometimes and we went into her work. Saw a Manager and explained the situation to him and TBH he was fab completely understood as his daughter is going through the same issue but I've told him it's a Sunday issue shes always had it mostly on a Sunday. So he sent her home and he's told her he will try and make sure none of her shifts hit a Sunday. So next week she's in Thursday and Saturday so shes happy with that. I've told her she is very lucky for her work to be so understanding and to not blow it.
Hubby out in the garage still working on the camper van conversion for his mum and step dad. At least it's keeping his busy xx
right off to get the rest of my dinner ready
HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE XX

It must be really hard for her, but good that her boss is understanding and enabling her to work other days,. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Her boss sounds really understanding, and you are doing a great job as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4

Hopefully her not working Sundays will help. My DD suffers with anxiety and agoraphobia and her workplace are really understanding and make sure she works behind the scenes rather than out in the store. Thankfully there is a lot more acceptance now than there used to be years ago.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Morning
Cashed out on PA and sent the £43.09 towards the hubby's card, its under another hundred mark, hopefully tomorrow I'll be clearing it tomorrow
I have £760 in my emergency savings account hoping it'll be up to £1000 by the weekend then I'll start working on my normal savings account so I'm not tempted to touch the emergency fund.
Managed to sell Abbie's old phone for £140 over the weekend so this will be going straight back into my savings. So she owes me £225 and she'll start making her payments to me every Friday.
hubby finally got round to putting the trim around my hallway, only took him nearly four years but it's done and what a difference.......wonder how long it'll take him to put the blind up in the bathroom...................
Will need to paint my skirting boards in the hallway now and there are a few bits around the house that need touched up but I will do this tomorrow when I drop Peggy off at my grans so I have peace to do it xx
Right off to get a snack for the kiddiewinkies xx
