Have a lovely day. I would be tempted to look at the credit card though, just so I know how it is!

I confess, I did peek at his credit card statement it's not a bad as I thought it was still high but time I get to it in August it'll be down a bit more and I should be able to clear it before Xmas. Haven't told hubby I know know want to keep him on his toes lol xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.052 -
Morning
Hope everyone is well, I slept in not that I'm working today but didn't get up til 10am but woke up with a sore head, think it's because my body is getting used to the healthy eating again.
Feels strange not sending a payment towards the debt so I've started putting money by for the holiday. So I have £10.04 in my holiday account. This account will cover spending money, boys passports, 10% in hotel fees when we arrive at Turkey (this is a new thing that's been put in place instead of paying for visas) and holiday clothes. So I need to put a date on when to stop saving so I have a target. I think 15th June will be suffice. This gives me a month to get organised for Abbie's 18th birthday party which we are having at the house............hopefully. Already scouted out garden stuff to make it look pretty, know where we are getting our cake from just need to sort out her gift which I haven't a clue what to get her. For my 18th I was given diamond earrings and necklace but she doesn't wear stuff like that so need to think. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Shes talking about buying a laptop for college with any birthday money so I might look into that.
If we don't get to go on holiday we've decided we will just move our holiday rather than cancel it. The Turkish lira exchange rate is quite high hopefully it'll stay like that for a little while.
Bought my holiday trainers yesterday Very were doing 20% off so took advantage of it seeing as my accounts are cleareda wee treat to myself. Only need to get trainers for Hubby and Xander so kinda getting organised.
Today i've told the boys we are taking Peggy for a walk in the woods so we all get some fresh air then we will come back boys can play on their computer and I'll get a workout done.
Bank accounts are looking good, on track for getting my emergency fund to £1000 then I'll start saving in another account for a everyday kinda saving account. Would like to save enough for a new garden set as we took our to the tip last year as it was rotting away to nothing. We also need to replace the garage door for a better one, it's not an emergency but having a normal saving account will stop the use of credit cards. It will defo be an accomplishment if I get all the credit cards gone before remortgaging as we had £4000 on a credit card when we first got our mortgage and still managed to get one
Right I'm waffling off to get some clothes on and get my lunch ready before we go out for our walk.

Abba, you are amazing, £7k cleared by mid-April! Well done!
Would abbie wear a nice watch or something instead?"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
I was looking at necklaces but only ones I can find that are sterling silver and Disney stitch related are in america and they aren't shipping here at the moment so will keep thinking xx
Abbie paid me £10 towards her phone sent it straight to the holiday savings so I have £20.04 in there and she owes me £215 she'll have that paid in no time xx
I have £800 in the emergency saving hubby still hasn't transferred what he normally transfers over to me so I'm hoping by the end of the night I've hit my £1000 emergency fund, another target accomplished
The tops of my legs and my right arm are sore from the workout last night was really sweating you could see the steam coming off my head hahahahaha was a sweaty mess when hubby came home.
Mindee taking a nap so thought I would pop on, managed to get two washing out on the line today although it's went awfully cloudy now better stay dry.
Hoping to get another workout done when I finish work so I don't feel guilty about getting takeaway tonight and I'm being good with my eating during the day now but the headaches are horrific sometimes, will be worth it after 3 weeks of eating just anything I want.
Right off to see what I can make for lunch for me, the boys and my mindee xxNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.053 -

Great news about your emergency fund. It's always nice to have it as a just in case.
I wanted a takeaway tonight, but resisted the temptation. I have so much food in my freezer it would be wrong to go and buy some more. x
