Doing well on tackling those debts too, great idea to take them on one at a time.
Very cheeky of the family member to just assume you'd be ok with the later pick up, he could've offered extra cash at least. You have a life too outside of the minding.
You would be surprised how many parents think I don't have a life or other interests and that's I'm at their beck and call but I'm getting better at calling them out on it so that's a good thing I guess :cool:NEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -

Definitely not harsh, they are taking the mick! I wouldn't be dropping them at a relative either, what happens if they are not there when you get there?
My nursery and even school has penalties if you are late for pickup - I think it's £10 for every 15 minutes you are late at nursery and at school they get sent to after school club and you have to pay the fee."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I don't think it is harsh. I have to pay if I am late, which is a rare thing, but can occasionally happen.
Love your motivation for the gym. I am still not exercise motivated in the slightest!

You are so busy!
I feel for my childminder as she works long shifts as well. I am the first drop off at 7.15am and tonight I saw some parents picking up at 5.30pm. That's over 10 hours work. I pick up my little one earlier, but she still has others. Thankfully my little one is term time only so she gets more of a lie in when we're not going!
