  • Well done on going to the gym especially in this heat, and knowing that you have burned off 600 calories to boot too....

Working so many nights in a row you will be exhausted, but at least the money will come in like you said at the end of your holiday. I am sure that you will all have a fabulous time. How many sleeps until your jollies?? :)

we leave on Monday burntfingers x

well yesterday i had a mini breakdown, between working 6 night shifts in a row to the house not being kept tidy to the kids arguing with me then to top it off i spilled stain remover all over the kitchen i ended up crying and felt really down, so dropped kids of at nursery and school and walked it to the doctors surgery as getting tested for diabetes and as I have a needle phobia i was bricking it, got to the nurses office and burst out crying and the nurse was amazing, she asked me why I had a needle phobia and I said when I see needles I get scared my veins somehow go deep and disappear so when doctors are trying to draw blood i'm a flipping pin cushion as i think the most attempts to draw blood from me in one day was 14 times !!!!!! so she understood why i was petrified. She talked me through it reassured me and it took only one attempt but she told me never to let anyone do that to me again, that they should only have two attempts and thats it so I thanked her and went for a around walk the shops and went on the powerplate then off to work absolutely shattered

Today is my day off went to the gym and burned over 600 calories this time then waited for wee dude and went to asda for some WW soups, a bottle of juice and butter then we walked to the cinema and got tickets to see the transformer movie on friday :) then we walked to the power plate place and i used another 3 sessions up lol then off to halfords to get a sat nav cable as i need to update my maps on it so that was £7.99 spent there then popped into poundstretchers to get DS a sweet and juice as he'd walked 4 miles at this point and never complained once lol

checked the bank account and i'm £147.99 in my overdraft but thats to be expected as i had to pay for new tyres this month so have transferred £50 from my paypal account so that will take it up to £97.99 in my overdraft with I can deal with lol it's maintenance day on friday so that will take me out the overdraft and on monday it's CB day so i'll be fine just dont need anything for tomorrow so we're ok x

opening the tin later on, got my money bags ready so cant wait to see how much we have lol

Sorry to hear about your mini breakdown, hope you feel better today :) It is really hard to juggle work (especially night shifts ) , DC and the housework. You are doing really well so keep strong.

    Hi Abba

Sorry to hear about your mini breakdown. Things do get too much occasionally and you do really well juggling everything so its allowed.
I had a mini breakdown in March, over pretty much the same - kids fighting, tiredness, stress, worry etc. I ended up having a massive flip out one teatime, didn't eat anything, ranted at the kids, DH, cat and anyone else who might have been listening and then bawled my eyes out for a few hours :o Not good but it happens!

Hope you get the results of your bloods back soon and that it isn't diabetes, I had to be tested when pregnant with DD but luckily the results were negative.

I bet the kids can't wait for Monday, have they packed their suitcases yet?

    Take care xxx

  • Abba :grouphug: have a dodgy group hug from me and so sorry to hear about yesterday......I was also having a bit of a breakdown last night. My neighbours and 2 friends all called round today to see if i was ok today :o tiredness, coupled with not stopping all day (Do NOT know how you juggle work with the kids too i'm exhausted from doing house, and looking after kids!) and kids never giving in at bedtime, kids immac'ing all their hair off, ruining my furniture, walls with pen etc well was a bad day and i finally snapped.

BUT like you i feel much better today, amazing how people only ever ask if you are ok once you have gotten it all off your chest already - by screaming, shouting and breaking a few plates (me anyways lol)

anyway! Hope you are all ready for your holiday, how exciting :) can't wait for mine now :D

    xxx

Today has been a been a busy wee day again lol walked into town and back went into new look for the sale but only saw a bracelet that i was going to buy last week but it was half price for i got it for £2.25 :j also got DD a necklace for her birthday which had the most cutest movable teddy bear pendant i have ever seen and it was only £1.25

went to homebargains and got two packets of sawdust 49p each, two packets of Japanese crackers 79p each, a small bottle of irn bru 29p, 3 packets of Olay face wipes 99p and a pack of bum wipes for the caravan 79p.....quite chuffed with my bargains lol

went to argos to get DD the backpack she wanted as it was reduced to £9.99 only to be told they don't have any in stock but the next town has got one so reserved it and will be picking it up for tomorrow as getting weighed and need to nip into primark for some bits and bobs so it worked out well in the end lol

had a 30 min session on the power plate today as well, chance my luck and said that seeing as I have 11 session left but won't be able to use them til after the holiday was there any chance they could postpone my account.....................which the they did :rotfl::j

came home made DD and DS lunch as this afternoon is the official start of their summer holidays so thats them off til the 17th August :p

DD washed the dishes for me whilst:p i hoovered her room as we changed the guinea pigs cage so her room was covered in sawdust and hay lol

then it was off to the car valet place where the kids helped he clear the car out and we hoovered it and replaced the car fresher as well so my car smells of strawberrys :rotfl:

DD is playing on her uncles xbox whilst DS is out the back playing on the trampoline so some peace to myself lol

  • Hi Abba

Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling too good at the moment, it could be like you said a culmination of many things too many shifts all at once, getting things ready for the holiday the blood tests and the worrying about the results.

What a brilliant start to any holiday starting with you all going to watch transformers. I hope that the weather stays glorious for your days away and that you come home less stressed.

ps try not to be too hard on yourself...you are doing really well....have a dodgy group hugs :grouphug:
