LSD today spent 96p on two bottles of diet coke, 80p on french style lettece??? Was the cheapest lol and 30p on my paper so a total of £2.06
and also £1.30 for abbie's easter club (would have been £2.60 but she has a card she gets activities half price) :T:T
The clothes that aren't fit to be sold have been put in a black bag and taken to Clothes 4 Cash so we got £1.50 for them .......better than them going in the bin lmao so I just gave abbie the money for her class tomorrow so I don't need find money for that lol
Abbie is helping me out big time with the Low Spending which I think is a great lesson for her and hopefully she doesn't make the same mistakes as we all have with money. she helps me out in the kitchen to make meals up out of the stuff we have.
Need to get Xander a new pair of trainers but going to hold out til wednesday as the kids dad is coming down and taking us to pizza hut so i thought it might be a nice idea for his dad to help out with picking them and if hell freezes over he might actually pay for them :rotfl: but i doubt it so I have £20 budget for them but JJB are offering £5 off new trainers is you trade in a old pair of trainers so hopefully get them for £15 or less :j

Well done on selling the radiator cover as you say every little helps...:)
Is there a specific page to sell on facebook or are you selling on your own page...sorry if you have answered this before....
I am currently trying to sell my trailer tent but have put it on ebay at the moment but if it doesn't sell then I am keen to not keep paying to sell it...not that I am selling it for a profit or anything...but the money will come in handy iyswim.
Hope your enjoying the holidays
Do your kiddies like playdoh? Mine used to sit for hours playing with it....from what i can remember you keep it in the fridge sealed in a tub and I know its flour, water, cream of tartar or something like that....and from memory you boil it up and add food colouring...will raid my recipe book and try and find it if you need it....:)
have you tried gumtree, preloved and adtrader to sell your stuff???? Thats where i go to sell all my big stuff lol Defo give them a go before ebaying them x
Yeah the kids have a big box of playdough but think they are getting too big for it lol haven't played with it for a while lolNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -

great when you think that you might struggle to pay such things and find that you have the money to do what you wanted without really noticing that you have downshifted something to have the extra pennies...:)

well hell froze over..................my ex paid for DS's trainers last night :j and paid for Pizza hut and also gave DD £20 as she couldn't see anything she wanted, so thats him away til August for R&R, kids are alright DS is too young to understand but on the other hand DD is starting to get angry with him as he hardly paid her any attention but paid plenty attention to my DS until she snap and shouted at him. Told he he should expect that until he realises what hes doing wrong

Took £10 out today after stretching that £20 i got on Sunday :j so i'm well chuffed how much i got for it my money and the kids haven't missed out on anything lol Tenner went straight out my purse lol went to the charity shop and got DS a pair of Nike Jogging Bottoms for only £1.99 :j and they are in excellent condition, promised the kids a greggs so that was nearly a fiver spent there but my Brother was with me too then we popped into the pound shop and got 6 bottles of juice for £3
went back to the community centre and took the kids to the easter activity thing they had running so the kids had a great time and they also got there faces painted so thats us for today,
DD has her final easter activity class tomorrow and hopefully as we're going up to my grans straight after it'll be a low spend day :j:j
also it's pay day tomorrow :j:T:j:T:j:T not that it'll be much as had no overtime this month but hey better than nothing it's two days early because the 10th falls on a Sunday so need to be careful x x xNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
Yay to ex hubby paying for DS trainers and Pizza Hut but grrr  to him ignoring your DD. Kids are very perceptive and soon pick up on things!
You've done well to stretch your £20 so far, its amazing what can be done when the mindset is there.
Hope your DS is feeling better, take care x0 -

Good for DD, had a similar thing with my ex hubby DS & DD's dad.
He wanted 2 girls, we had a girl, then a boy. Ex hubby had an older daughter to his first marriage and never really bothered with DS.
When DS was three and a half years old, he was rushed into hospital with suspected meningitis....we lived about 20 miles from the hospital and Ex hubby went back to pick up DD. The hospital had said that they wanted to keep DS in overnight so I asked Ex hubby to bring in some toiletries and some tampons as I was on my period.
When he came back from picking DD up, he walked into the hospital and I asked him where everything was....he pointed over to a sink and said there is some soap over there and towels...use them I don't know what the big deal is....:mad:in the end he stayed with DS and I had to take home DD.
The next day I went to pick them up DS was okay and very perky :T and they put it down to concussion as he had banged his head on a little tykes three tot rocker the previous day.
On our way home Ex hubby...said if your not happy then file for a divorce...so I did
He always took my DD everywhere he went...would never take DS.
Would leave DS at home crying cos he wasn't allowed to go with them  ...it was so heartbreaking....:(
Regret means nothing....and its something that ex hubby will have to live with for the rest of his life. He has apologised for his behaviour but even now it is still obvious that he still thinks more of DD than DS.....funnily enough DS has no inclination of moving down there....even though DD does live there as she is at college...
I guess what I am trying to say is that it will be your hubbys loss and not your DD's she will grow up being very indifferent to him and probably that DS will do too. Brothers and sisters are ususally very close...and woe betide anyone who comes between them
