Hi Abba
Glad that DD is ok, wahoo to you almost been clear of Vodafone and having extra money to throw at your debts.
Burntfingers - I felt so sorry reading about your DS crying when his Dad wouldn't take him out x0 -
Burntfingers - I felt so sorry reading about your DS crying when his Dad wouldn't take him out x
It was heartbreaking at the time....but as my DS is now aged almost 18 years old it hasn't done him any long term harm and he and his Dad are good friends now.
Abba's daughter sounds such a lovely grounded child who obviously must take after her mum.....all this will stand her in good stead for when she becomes an adult.
Well done to Abba too for almost being able to scratch off another debt too...:TTotal debt £[STRIKE]37864.78 [/STRIKECOLOR=purple][STRIKE] £31681.03[/STRIKE] -£16700

Another £30 to vodaphone...phoned them up and they're still going to charge me unless i phone them on the 25th May (end of contract date) and cancel then...!!!!!!!!!! I want shot of this crappy contract now i haven't used it in about a year due to getting no signal and also having got wireless broadband.
Last payment due next month on the 11th thank god for that lolNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
 at vodaphone why can't they just cancel it now.....I would still confirm it in writing to them and also send it by registered post so that you have a record that it has been sent to them.
Then its their fault if they don't act on your wishes and continue the contract by saying that there is no record of haivng a convo about stopping the contract.
Hope you have a lovely day

thought i'd pop by and say hi! Well done on getting the debt down! your smashing your target :jgood on you!
As for your vodaphone contract, i had a similar one a few yrs bk with one2one (who i think are now 02) and omg the rows i had with them about trying to get out of that was unbelievable!! They eventually succumbed and cancelled but only after i went to the CAB to complain. I hadn't used it in around 8 months was paying £15 (was a lot of money to be 8 yrs ago haha) a month and as far as i knew had signed no contract! i think they just make their own rules up!! EVER since then i have only ever had a PAYG phone, even when there have been some brill deals about and really good phones with them! Anyway i'll stop ranting on your thread nowbut i feel ya pain! lol
