  • Hiya

Speaking of school photo's I heard of someone who would take one of the photo's out of the pack and send it back to the school saying 'no thanks'...she argued that the school never knew as they wouldn't bother opening each individual pack of photo's to count them..... and that they charged too much for them anyways!!

I used to take photo's of mine the first day of every school year so that you could see from one year to the next how much they had changed etc. :)

Bit cheaper and you don't end up with loads of pics and don't know what to do with them all ....still got some of my 2 when they were younger in the very same pack that they came in....:o

  • I always take my own school photos too, usually outside so the summer flowers are still out and makes it look a bit prettier lol, and that way i can just keep taking them until my son actually cracks a smile (the school ones are ALWAYS without a doubt rubbish! ) So never ever pay for them now!

Have you seen those frames with about 20 pictures you can put in, i want one of those for the kids pics but they seem to be so expensive i never get one lol, perhaps i'll just go to the £1 shop and stick a load of cheap ones together and stick that on the wall :p

Have you thought about buying a cheap cork noticeboard and putting all your photo's on there and then covering them in the sticky plastic stuff..could then paint the frame any colour you like...just a thought but it might work out a little bit cheaper than the multi frames??:)

You could always get the kids involved too. Most peeps have a notice board kicking around I know this 'cos I have three !!! :o

Although to be fair one is in use as what it is supposed to be used for and the other two are in my sons bedroom....collecting dust...a bit like my wii fit :rotfl:

I loved my LOs first nursery photos and kinda felt obliged to buy them :o Last years weren't very good though, so we didn't bother.

My brother and sister-in-law get all kinds of rubbish with their kids faces on which they dish out to family... calendars, book marks, coasters :undecided

One thing I would LOVE though would be a big family portrait of me, LO, hubby, the parents, my brothers and their partners and all the kids :heart2:
