Yes they are but Dell have altered the cartridges so you can't use Lexmark replacements. You'll always miss 100% of the shots you don't take - Wayne Gretzky
Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.0 -

Easy to modify to accept Lexmark cartridges - just a case of snapping a small piece of plastic off where the cartridge sits- literally a 5 second job.
Hx.
Merry Xmas.Watch out for Freddie the Fox at the Shay !!0 -

Halifax,
Merry christmas to you - you may just have made mine!
I have a Dell 810 printer, which I got v. cheaply a few months back, and cartridge has just run out. Knowing that it was a rebadged Lexmark (thanks to these fora!), and not wanting to pay Dell cartridge prices, I went out and bought the Lexmark One cartridge.
The cartridge physically fits in the space, but I couldn't get the Dell printer to recognise the Lexmark cartridge - could you please tell me more about which piece of plastic I need to snap off, or anything else that to do so that I won't be hostage to Dell cartridge prices for the rest of my life!!
Thanks in advance,

If you are going to order it is worth buying 2 because of the cost of postage. Not bad for 27 pounds!
Good post thanks.0 -
It occured to me that if you order two you could put one in the small ads for £25-£30 - 'Dell Printer - unopened, Brand new, unwanted Xmas pressie'.... and it would fly away.
Then you can keep the Free printer!!"Unhappiness is not knowing what we want, and killing ourselves to get it."Post Count: 4,111 Thanked 3,111 Times in 1,111 Posts (Actual figures as they once were))Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.0 -
