We just returned from Australia and Dubai and had no problems using the Fairfx ANYWHERE card (NOT a dollar or euro card, as the name suggests, it is for use worldwide) and the Caxtonfx pre-paid cards. When in Australia you will not be able to get a balance statement from the ATMs, as these companies are not part of the Australian banks system, you have to go online for that.

I was just comparing rates offered by these 3 today:

For Fair FX £1 = €1.1625 (Fair FX anywhere card cost £9.95, if first load is less than £500)
For Caxton £1 = €1.1620 (Caxton world traveller card is FREE, but minimum load is £100)
    For Kalixa £1 = €1.17484 (Kalixa card costs £4.95)

No Card cost if you apply via thisismoney link

Don't know where your exchange rate figure was sourced but Mastercard's exchange rate for yesterday (the most recent given) was £1 = €1.1748 (approx. €1.15718 after the 1.5% transaction fee)

All of your rates are completely inaccurate. Surely an embarrassment considering your choice of username.
