well it has been a week of work, work, work. And next week will be exactly the same. I need to check my spending diary for the last couple of days as things seem to have gone a little haywire
washing is on and i'm currently sat waiting for workmen who should have been here hours ago  - means i've not been able to do any of the things i wanted to - running, nipping to pick up some special offers humph! i also missed out on a lie-in to get up ready for them coming  Its a quote for a job so we'll see how i take to them and the price when they finally appear :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
I've sold an item on e-bay - which after fees  and postage should be £30 for me - not to be sneezed at and this will also make another little pad to target 1- You may have noticed target 1 is bigger than i had thought  - i didn't have a recent bill but wanted to show my pads against a figure
Sadly though i underestimated what i owe
sorted out now but *eep*
No more eb*y stuff in the pipeline as the very few bits i have i can't list as i can't get pics onto the computer - i know you can list without pictures but in all honesty i wouldn't bid on something without a piccy
Hope everyone is wellCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hey DDFW, hope the workmen turned up in the end. There's nothing more annoying than hanging around the house waiting for someone to turn up
Well done on the ebay sale though!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hiya DDFW
You have had an up and down week DDFW. Did the workmen turn up?
Sort of organised for Christmas but my form is not great. My new job not going as well as it was. I am in the presence of a bully
Ah well it will get sorted soon.
Not much to add except doing a bit of cleaning today so I can get my Christmas Tree up tonight.:)

Hi all
jwil and ebayqueen - yes the workmen did eventually turn up - i do understand its one of those things that can't be helped and they did update me to say they'd be late - but i'd had the house ready since 9am for them to come and they came at 6pm  Oh well! Its done now and i've had some good advice off of them too  I do very much feel like the day was wasted though so i'm going to pop myself a little list on here for today so that i have that nice feeling of achievementAlthough my cold has developed into a bit of a bad cough so i'm also going to be taking it easy
i too am pleased with the eb*y sale - just hope it all goes smoothly though there's no reason for it not to.
ebayqueen - so sorry to hear that your job isn't going as well at the moment - will you be working with this person for some time?

All rooms have been decluttered but i didn't keep up with my list of what needs to be done in each room - must put this right today
Make daily PAD :T
Bake cakes - only if i feel up to it
Go over financial plans for next year
Other than resting, raeding and watching some programs i think that this is plenty to be going on withCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hiya everyone
Plans got a little scuppered by someone coming round to help me with a job :T:T:T - i do need to pay them for their work but still its something i can't do by myself and i am very pleased :j:j:j This is one of those things that has been bringing me down as no-one has helped me with it, i've had to do it all myself and i got really down as i was struggling to do it and with my thyroid i was just so exhausted the last time i tackled itI am so very grateful to them even though i know for them its a paid job - but they are the first person to help me with this
:D:D
Ok, going to get out my little book and do the list for the next room:T
