Hi Everyone
Quick update with how the food budget has been going:
Week 1: spent £14.70 - got loads though as I used some points I had
Week 2: spent £23.77 - this was mainly due to OH letting me know what he wanted me to purchase for his packed lunches - which actually works out at £2.50 a day :eek::eek:
Back to the seemingly never ending list
Hope everyone is having a good weekendCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Unsurprisingly, after achieving so much yesterday, i have done considerably less today :rotfl::rotfl:
Oh well, must keep going - it is only on the days I'm not in work that I seem to get anything done at home at the moment which isn't good as it is all piling up and then takes ages to sort out. Admittedly, alot of the things I have done are things that either
a) need to be done on a regular basis such as cleaning
b) are things that have been waiting ages for me to have the time to sort out - such as the photo frame
c) are the things i have been putting off doing
It doesn't help that I have made tea and then discovered I can't eat itsometimes this happens so i am just trying to wait a bit and then see if there is something basic and simple I can eat oooh! Just thought I'd love pancakes but we don't have any eggs in
Might walk along to the shop for some in a mo. Bit of fresh air and exercise and then some tea
Only had 1 meal today which is not good and is probably not helping me focus on the rest of the things I need to accomplish today.
Hope it has been a good weekend for everyoneCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -

Wow, you have been really busy!!! You put me to shame
I studied Geosciences for my first degree, and Environmental Studies for my second. Just have one course left to do for that degree. I'd like to do the MSc in Earth Science too. I have dabbled in some of the arts and languages courses as well though. I like the look of the literature courses, but I don't like being told what to read :rotfl:
I really miss studying with the OU actually, it can be very addictive."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hi Jwil and everyone -
Thanks Jwil, I didn't do nearly enough this weekend though to be honest which has left everything I didn't do to be done over this week and the weekend. I decided i'd post my tada lists as then at least when I see what I have left to do I would feel better knowing that I did at least do something :rotfl::rotfl:
Main aim this week is to spend each night (only time I have at home when I get in from work) moving at least 3 items out of the living room so that I have no distractions or additions on my to do list.
NSD for me - only spends was pesky travel expenses to work and the train was delayed coming home adding even more time onto my long commute.
Night all off for some much needed sleep now x

Hi Everyone,
Well progress of a sort is being made. Last night i removed at least 6 items from the living room which felt good.
Today I have:
Ordered a business document which i need and have been putting off doing
Contacted a company re. surveys and completed questionnaire for this - fingers crossed
Contacted hospital to change my appointment - wish I hadn't bothered as it is now at an even worse time but they didn't take this on board when I said I want the latest appointment possible - and made my appointment 2 hours earlier than it would have been  Still got them to change my address considering i've not lived there for the last 7 years.
Was going to call the doctor but as I have no time off work to go i'll leave that for 2weeks now.
Now to make lunch ready to take to work with me :ACC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000 -
Hi Everyone,
A quick-ish post from me as I am on here and putting off doing something elseThink I'll give myself 30minutes of getting underway with said task and then pop back on here as my reward and work through the day like that
I haven't been posting much this week as have really well and truly got the January Blues! - in truth it is the way i have been feeling for some time about alot of things and again when i really think about it if this debt wasn't here everything would perhaps seem more manageable:o:o:o when i think like this it in turn makes me feel worse about everything againI think if I didn't have the debt then I wouldn't be tied to working at the job I am in - the money isn't fab but it is just enough along with p/t work to help keep me plodding on but I find the job extremely stressful and am constantly worrying about it - even waking up in the night with my heart racing
:( so I now need A Plan Of Positivity! and a good talking to myself and pulling up of socks - best go and grab timer and will be back with brighter news in a bit. Apologies for the negative post but this is how I feel and don't feel like I can talk to anyone about it
back soon xCC1:T £[STRIKE]2531[/STRIKE] £1460MORTGAGE OVERPAYMENTS: £10575.20 Target £12,100MF Date: [STRIKE]August 2042[/STRIKE] May 2035Declutter 1000 things by Xmas 2015! 53/10000
