  • Aw! Thanks jwil :D But i am sadly still very much under the weather with earache, headache, body ache, congested etc. etc. Urgh!

I've been and done the food shop which i kept to budget ;) and i took my xmas vouchers with me ready to hit the sales for the few bits i wanted :T Unfortunately, 1 shop had sold out of what i wanted, i didn't make it to another shop and the third shop had a different selection in to what they have in in another town i go to. This doesn't mean i didn't manage to spend some money though :naughty::o I got a gorgeous top ready for my holibobs next year - its a summer top though it'll be lovely with a cardi too ;) a snip at £10 - reduced from £75!!! - my kinda sale :j:j:j Did see many more items of utter gorgeousness in this shop but they weren't anywhere near as vastly reduced sadly.

I'm thinking of heading to another branch of the shop where i've got my voucher for tomorrow as they may still have the jumper or top in that i really wanted :) - failing that i may put to and get a new coat - mine has definitely been overworn!

Now its time for me to catch up on a few diaries whilst i curl up methinks - its fine soldiering on but i really do just want to feel better!

Ooh in money news, i'm still trying to do surveys - but pretty much screened out of them all! And am checking for MS's daily too ;)

  • Ta jwil :D

I am heading out shortly armed with my vouchers ;) - just having a cuppa :coffee: before braving the rain :)

I am also due to be going out with OH tonight but will see how my suggestion that he just goes is taken... its down to the money and a little bit of it as that i'm still not 100% it will be hard for me to really enjoy the night - anyways we'll see what he says

I think getting on with the things on my list will have to wait until tomorrow and see if my head feels any less like cotton wool :(

Good luck with the shop today, hope you find what you wanted. I know what you mean about not being able to enjoy yourself when you are worrying about the finances.

  • Hi all

Ta jwil - well i had to go to one shop and then the same shop different branch so a bit of driving about involved! but did get what i wanted and it was worth the rigmarole! :D i am now the proud owner of a lovely new coat :T:T:T

So i am not going out tonight so will hopefully use the time to get on with some of the things i need / want to do :) Although i do need to have a shower and try and encourage the last few germs to leave me - pesky cold achey things grumble grumble!

Also had to borrow a little bit of money off my lovely mother - will have to try and earn this back asap and pay it back - mainly due to buying some gifts to stash away which its actually undecided as yet if my ma will actually be buying these off me anyways  - so i may not owe anything but best to try and cover it ;)

One thing i am really, really pleased with though is that i went into lots of shops - both today and yesterday with my ma and i picked up lots of clothes and put them all back down again - i found fault with everything or reasoned that i didn't need it anyway and i even thought about the cost and how i want to pay the debt off (*well i actually thought about how much i want to move house* - which i know is a loooong way off) But still, its a step in the right direction and i am very pleased with my little self :D
