I ordered two large pumpkins last week.

I think it depends on what your idea of large is, because despite saying 'large' on the sticker, they aren't exactly the sort of pumpkin that your kids would carve. Fine for cooking, but my kids asked me why I'd bought such small pumpkins! :o So don't expect a very big one, mine are perhaps 9" across. I will carve them because the space isn't really big enough for the kids to do it, so I'm going to have to go out and get some proper sized ones to keep the kids happy.

    yes, it is.
  • Ooh, super, our should I say "souper" (I love pumpkin soup!)
  • I ordered the large one today by home delivery but it was out of stock so they sent the smaller 'sweet culinary' one instead ... I was happy though as for 50p I only wanted it for a nice soup too!

I am not sure what size they were, but they didn't look very big. But the label did say 2 for £3 so you may be right.

my local store has 2 different offers. there are large ones which are 2 for £3, or you can get a smaller one for 50p, certainly not what i would call large. smaller than the size of a football.
