Hope you all had good weekends, (((hugs))) to those in need, I've not had chance to catch up on threads.

I had a fab time in London :D. Shopping and saw Legally Blonde on Friday - it was sooooo funny, really really good. more shopping at Westfield on Saturday; London Eye, sightseeing and Covent Garden on Sunday. I also managed to meet up with a friend from summer camp for breakfast on the Sunday too :D I didn't spend that much either. I got a new handbag (25% off!), scarf and tea light holder. All our meals out involved using voucher offers and London Eye was 241 :j

Good day at work today. Kids were in good spirits. Took them to beach for footie and ice cream this afternoon :D. Popped to shops after work as needed to get prescription and few bits in Boots.

OS wise - WM has been on, need to put on airer before dinner! I've made fajitas for tea. I've also made brocolli and stilton soup for the first time :) it smells yummy, I'll take it for lunches this week. My flat needs a tody but that can wait til next week as I'm a bit tired from this weekend.

    Have a good evening all

It is a lovely, bright crisp day here today. managed to get some washing on the line and sort of dry a quick 5 mins in the TD sorted that.

Went up to B&Q for a mooch and ended up getting DH a new Stanley toolbox with wheels reduced from £50 to £24, So I am happy. It has been hidden for Christmas and I will fill it with all his pressies and bits and bobs all wrapped seperately - I can't wait to see his face on Christmas morning.

    Csarina ....That is awful!
It is dangerous to stop steroids like that!
You have to be weaned off them slowly - I know because I have been on them for a long time. (((((((((Hugs)))))))) to you and OH xx

    Have good evenings everyone

Gosh it was cold today! Went to feed the hens this morning only to find that Harry Houdini (one of the new hens) had been out all night! Thought I had shut them all safely in the coop but must have taken my eye off the ball. Should have known as everytime I put them in this one was behind me again. I have counted them all in tonight (have to teach the new ones to go to bed which involves catching them, walking them up the ramp and encouraging them to go in the pop-hole!). Anyway, the coop is all clean and so is the hamster cage.

Met friends for a coffee after work, one has just been to Florida for a month, so good to catch up. Washing on the airer in the 'warm' room. This house gets soooo cold in the winter, something to do with 3 foot thick walls and useless central heating!

DS2 appears to have gone back to uni, probably wont see him again until he needs some home cooking, talking of which I had left over meat & potato pie for tea.

Csarina, hope OH will soon be on the mend - why don't medics talk to GPs, patients and their families? Make sure you eat during this difficult time to keep your strength up.

Go you JackieG, I'm all for time-saving appliances and well done for plumbing it in yourself.

Hope Monday wasn't too bad for you, that's it just about over now.

    Take Care XX
