  • My Sa wouldn't let me buy something for less than 5 pounds, as she said the till wouldn't accept it. So, I bought some jelly beans, which happened to be right next to the till. Hopefully, they will last until Christmas as a stocking filler. However, I very much doubt it.
  • Hi,

I have tried at least half a dozen times since it was announced to down load this voucher, each time it acknolwedges it and says it can take 30 minutes etc, but I have waited a day or so between attempts just in case its slow but I have never had an email.

I'm on AOL anyone else had the same problem and any pointers on how to make it work?:o
Maybe, AOL see it as junk mail and won't let it through. I would set up a new one on gmail. It just takes a few minute to set up.

I know this sounds silly, but are Debenhams prices the same everywhere? It's just that I saw the ELC build a plane toy today, and I know someone used their voucher and only paid 1.50. When I saw it in store today, it was still full price at 13.50. Is it just because it didn't have a reduced sticker on it? .

I went to the Trafford Centre with my DD on Monday and she commented on a number of items that were more expensive than when she visited the Manchester store on Sunday (must admit I didn't think to ask for them to be price-checked).
  • jonty03-That's what I am wondering. Is it because one store is just faster at updating prices and have put sale stickers on, or are different stores pricing things differently? I have heard of other chains like John Lewis doing that.
  • are you uys printing out the full email including then pic of the women??

I am with aol and had no probs. You are ticking the box that says you would like emails from Debenhams arent you? cos the one time I didnt get the voucher through it was when I said no to their emails. Went back again and changed it and voucher came through.

Just used another two (despite intending to use only one lol)! :o

    I got:
    • Wallis green drop earrings (£15 reduced to £3 in the sale)
    • Wallis long beaded necklace (£18 reduced to £3 in the sale) for OH's mum
    • Debenhams 5 pack of black pants (£6)
    Total spend £2!!!!

I only have one left , but am sorely tempted to apply for more to get some of the Mrs Bridges stuff. :) I can go in tomorrow, Friday and next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. So that's five visits...

Why would you be drawing attention to yourself for price checking?? i check prices all the time. Ask someone on the floor to check it if you don't want to go to the til maybe?
Also never feel you Have to buy it anyway just cause your at the til and there maybe a queue.
And just cause you are using a voucher you are not doing anything wrong - Debs GAVE us the vchrs to use.
    good luck.
