No, the vouchers work on sale goods. If you have problems, just ask them to check with a supervisor as your 'friend' bought exactly the same thing and had no problems at all. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using the voucher. It is your right as a customer, and should not be embarrassed by it. I think some SAs can be a bit mean and look down their nose at people who use vouchers, but then again the majority are really nice and have no problems with it whatsoever.

I agree. You'd think it was coming out of their own pocket! I bet they all tell their family and friends to sign up, that's the irony of it...

If you look at your receipt if they have in-putted the number it will show as 'gift card pke' and **********XXXX the last 4 digits telling you what voucher you have used when you compare it to your email.

I had no problem with sales goods - 4 lovely Betty Jackson breakfast bowls 70% off at £1.20 each

When you used it at the same till, didn't the SA say anything?

Not a dicky-bird. I said that one was for my sister. ;)

With gmail / googlemail, you can also just add a "dot" anywhere in the email address and it's treated as a new address but they all end up in the same inbox.

For example another@googlemail.com
then a.nother@googlemail.com
then an.other@googlemail.com

and so on! Each new address gets you a new voucher with a different code, but all delivered to the same email acount.

Hope that helps!

If anyone is in need of a new voucher please PM me

I have loads that I won't use because I have my own domain with a catchall address, all I have to do is change the email address slightly and it will send a voucher to my inbox.

Has anyone managed to get anything from either Kidderminster, Telford or Merry Hill?

Also using the spam option or whatever it is to get multiple vouchers how else is everyone getting so many?
:jHas saved so much money since joining this forum, thanks to all you kind people out there :j

I've been Money Tipped!
Got my sweets - 2 tubs £8 each for only £3 each (hamper is growing by the day).

I also splashed out on a reduced Betty Jackson rug for the spare room - £100 down to £30 (70% off), so only £25 with voucher.
Available online for £30 also, so voucher codes can be used - for anyone with decent taste. lol

By the way if you have a gmail / googlemail address you can have as many unique addresses as you like anyway :) (by entering anything after a plus sign). Say your email is martinlewis@gmail.com

martinlewis+carrot@gmail.com
martinlewis+debenhams1@gmail.com
martinlewis+debenhams2@gmail.com

all work fine and end up in your inbox (the debenhams vouchers will be in one thread)

Thanks for this great tip. You learn something useful every day. I just tried it and it worked brilliantly. The only problem is that after I printed them from the Debenhams thread, they all seemed to disappear and I couldn't find them again. Would this work all the time, like on another glitch, or is it just that this Debenhams one accepts it as different ones. Handy to know for next time. Huge thanks for saving me the time to create new email addresses.:T:T:T

Thanks for this new tip too! I know it's not good for the environment, but it is good for my pocket!
