Tara747- did you have any problems in Wallis, as I thought about them, but worried about them being a concession?0
-
No problem at all with getting voucher accepted - Jasper Conran children's socks were marked down from £4 for a pack of three to £2.50. Picked up two pairs, got to the till and was told they were now only £1.20 - so picked up three more packs and got 15 pairs of socks for £1. Good deal or what!0

I think it might be 20% off full priced toys, so some good stocking fillers to be had there.0

Had problems today getting my discount.
First I tried 4 pairs of socks which were at 70% off total £5.60.
Result: Can't use them on sale items.
Next, one pair of full priced socks £3.50.
Result: Must spend over £5 (different SA)
Ended up spending 50p on a toiletries gift set (twice with 2 vouchers in two separate transactions). Suited me fine but was hoping not to have to spend anything! :P
My vouchers were put through as a gift card for one transaction, and then as "Other Voucher" on my second receipt. It seems its hit and miss what terms and conditions you get with this voucher depending on who serves you!!0 -

No, I just picked it up from the Wallis section and paid for it elsewhere. No problem at all.

Middlestitch-Good bargain. My kids always need socks as they are forever losing them. Were they girl or boy ones?
Tara747- Thanks for that. I always thought that you had to pay for Wallis in the Wallis section.
There are some bargains to be had in the childrenswear department as still quite a lot of nice stuff 50% or 70% off. I bought a John Rocha long sleeved top today for my son, with only 40p to pay. A bargain. My friend was astounded at the offer, as she thought that there would be more problems getting it, so she is off to get some vouchers sorted out.0 -
Right well I have 4 receipts from ydays trip and 3 are other voucher and 1 is gift card! The only problem is which email addresses I used as I did 2 on Tuesday and dont know what they were put through as?! Could reprint all vouchers and give it a shot and look all oblivious when they say its already been used! Yet I am sure all the voouchers I used with barcode were put through as Other voucher! No, the vouchers work on sale goods. If you have problems, just ask them to check with a supervisor as your 'friend' bought exactly the same thing and had no problems at all. There is absolutely nothing wrong with using the voucher. It is your right as a customer, and should not be embarrassed by it. I think some SAs can be a bit mean and look down their nose at people who use vouchers, but then again the majority are really nice and have no problems with it whatsoever.0

I think 'other voucher ones don't ahve the number keyed in. AT least I don't remember them doing that. I think they just scribbled over the voucher and put it in the till. The new ones with unique voucher codes are inputted and are one use only.0
