Hi i used 2 today one upstairs and one downstairs. The vouchers didn t scan they did it manually one knew what to do but the other didn t. I bought a nice hand towel and 2 matching flannels reduced from £11 to £5.50 so paid 50p and with the other i bought a Hello Kitty girls umbrella for my niece as part of her Xmas present for £2 instead of £7. Tbh i never really know what to buy . Nice little freebie though.
  • When I looked round our one, there seemed to be lots in the 6-7 pound price range that were in the 70% off sale, so this is quite good for them really. Quite a few photo frames for around 6 pounds, and Principles jewellery sets for 5 pounds. Great for stocking fillers.

Do you know if it works if you spend under £5? As in if you find something for £4.99, would you have to add something else to get it over £5 to use the voucher? I don't normally shop Debenhams, but I'll go get a few bits if it's free or a very small spend (like £1).

can someone confirm for me does the item have to cost over £5 or can it be used on an item that costs say £4.60?? If someone could answer id be very grateful :)

Also did anyone try and use two vouchers with the same bar code?!
Item has to be over £5 , even if its just £5.01,, or it can be £5 exactly.

I bought a £4.99 book today with it and she even gave me the 1p change (which I'm sure they must not be meant to do!)

The barcode wouldn't scan but she typed in the number and it went through as 'other voucher'.

    Thanks so much OP!

    wow!!!
    how much was it for????

Originally was £20, got it for £15! :D
  • Ive just received my voucher but everytime i go to print it off it closes all windows and says there is a problem and report it to microsoft???? is anyone else having this trouble? I have tried cutting and pasting voucher but it doesnt show up all the bar code when this is done. Help!!!
  • This is brilliant, thanks OP!

I got 4 vouchers - all to different email addresses.

Got a baby rattle - had to pay the 50p extra, a sleepsuit - had to pay a couple of pounds, some chocolates for a pressie, had to pay 50p and a soft baby book, again had to pay £1.

Well chuffed, thanks. It was quite amusing, as I went to 4 different tills, and all 4 struggled with how to put the voucher in and put it in in different ways, they had a print out in the end, so I think will now be standardised. The first one put the £5 on a gift card and then gave it me to use, and then did another transaction and took the gift card off me, odd! They seemed to have to type in the barcode, rather than scan it!

Am really tempted to get more vouchers and get hubby to go and do the purchasing tomorrow, or would that be greedy?!
  • They've got some great Red Herring shoes cut down to £8.40, which is £3.40 with the voucher. Bargain.

I used 2 today. One to buy 2 xmas packs of dairy milks in an old milk carton, and another to get some disney priness for just £1. There were problems scanning at the tills, took about 3 minutes, but well worth it for a few stocking fillers!

I am a Sales Manager at Debenhams Oxford Street and can confirm there is no minimum spend on the vouchers. Many of them do not scan so staff have to enter the 18 digit number into to the till so please be patient with them as the writing is rather small. I run the accessories department (handbags, scarves, purses etc) so please make sure you lovely londoners spend yours here :)

I misread your name, and thought it said "Ken My Love"!! Well, I shall definitely be helping to swell your footfall in Oxford Street on Saturday, and it's nice to have such a friendly post to reply to from a Sales Manager. :T
