They do work - they just don't scan, so you need a SA who knows to ignore the first - 2 ? - digits and key in the rest as a gift card.
A SA refused to put through my £5 purchase, so I went to another till and it was put through ok.0 -
Thanks for that donquine.0

I had four email addresses so I signed up for four vouchers through them and got four. Then I did the text thing, which got me a fifth one.
Went to Debs today and got following items (all of which I'd wanted for ages!):- La Cucina Pestle & Mortar, full price £6.50 minus voucher ---> £1.50
- John Rocha soap dispenser, full price £10, 20% 0ff minus voucher ---> £3.00
- John Rocha soap dish, full price £6.00, 20% Off minus voucher ---> £0
- 2 x Best Buy, supersoft bath towel, full price £7.00 (x2) minus voucher (x2) ---> £2.00 (x2)
I never even tried using two vouchers at the same time OR at the same till so I made the rounds in Debenhams to find a new till every time and had no problems.
BTW, I tried using the + and dot on Gmail but it didn't work, telling me a voucher had already been sent to this email address.0 -
I used the 'dot' system but haven't had a cancellation e-mail yet......
Off into town this afternoon to try and use them so will report back.
Just back from town and had no problems with the gmail vouchers I got using the dot system - I only used 2 paper vouchers and 2 phone codes from my gmail account cos I left the other few at home so will have to go back next week to use those!!0 -
I AM SO ANGRY!! I travelled an hour to go to Debenhams at Ocean Terminal (Edinburgh) because they sell Chanel make up there, and I wanted a lipgloss.
I got there, handed over my text message code, and she said she needed me to print it out so she could put it through. I even spoke to some other woman too and she said the same thing.
I told them that it says in the T&C that I can just hand over the phone adn they can take that
I am going to email debenhams cause I'm so angry. Such a wasted journey.0 -
I got some Toni & Guy heated rollers for £10 today! And a YSL gift set for £30 (after using a £5 voucher and £10 beauty reward). Plan to go back next week and pick up Avril lavigne perfume gift set for my sister and a few other bits. Really chuffed with this, has no problems in my local store (Bromley). The staff there are always amazing and ever so polite!0

I just got a set of £5 Red Herring nail varnishes for free as they were £5, great for the beauty hamper I am making0

I got a Red Herring lip gloss set for £5 so paid nothing and my DH got some Tote slipper socks £6 so paid £1. Both for the shoebox appeal so thanks to Debenhams some little girl will be happy come Christmas Day. Thank-you so much.Born to glitch0

They told me to print the text out too - LOL. I asked to speak to the manager, manager came out and I said innocently, ''could you tell how to print out text messages because it appears I've never come across that feature of phones before''.0

How random, you should have asked him if they could print it out for you there as your phone doesn't have a bult in printer lol
Obviously staff must be very spoilt to have phones with printers!! What an incentive to work for Debenhams :rotfl:Comping wishlist for 2017
