Myself and other half have now used over 3000 and have not had a single problem with anyone yet. Every member of staff has been perfectly helpful. If only things were like this in Tesco!!! Have to say I'm now getting a bit bored with it all now though!

P.S. I am drinking cheap wine (from Tesco) from my cheap lead crystal glass (from debenhams) in my lovely hotel (thanks to Tesco) smelling a lovely yankee candle (thanks to debenhams) sharing lovely lingerie with my OH (thanks to debenhams)....but as this is a family board I might stop right there and turn the lights out on this post, nite :)

I went into the chelmsford Debenhams on Friday evening about 6pm and used a text voucher - it was the first one that the asst had seen. Eventually she found the set of printed instructions that is apparently available at every till point. She was getting in a bit of a state as she coulndt find the instructions first off and no one around to ask so when she found them we looked at them together. The instructions certainly do not mention printing from the text. They say the assistant should look at the text but on no account to touch the customers phone. I presume they are concerned about being accused of damaging expensive phones.
  • I had to hand my phone over so she could read it and key in the number. She even started pressing the keys as the message faded. Somehow she reset the volume to max. Shall I sue?? lol!:rotfl:

I got a very lovely SA in Norwich yesterday :j... I took two disney princess dolls up and asked if I could do seperate transactions and she said yeah do you have voucher codes. I replied yes and stated one was my DH who had taken DD downstairs so I could buy dolls. She put the dolls through no problem and commented about how difficult it was to shop when you have LO's with you :D

  • I used two yesterday and DD used one, we got xmas wrapping paper set, was £6 so cost us only a £1. Also got a Jamie Oliver Tefal saucepan, reduced from £55 to £16.50, so £11.50 with the voucher, and also a Tefal fry pan reduced from £24 to £12, so £7 to pay for that, what amazing bargains, was desperate for some new pans now I'm doing so much more home cooking and am really pleased to get such good quality pans for such low prices! :D
  • I have used the £5 vouchers....in Debenhams to buy chocolates, cosmetics and kitchenwear.

Unfortunately the web site stopped accepting new email addresses today though the offer is until next Friday.

There is no validation except that its a valid email address.
You print off the voucher when its emailed to you.

It says 'one per customer' but did not quilify if that was one per day or per branch.

Some of the staff had no idea how to enter the voucher code. Some said you have to spend more than £5, and one said after spending £4.80 that he would give me the voucher back to use again as it had 20p credit on it!

I was told that it was all about getting people into the shop as it was pretty deserted most days and £5 was the minimum that people would be bothered to make the effort for.

Good offer, badly thought out and with little staff training.
