If you are using AVG anti virus, uninstall it and replace with AVIRA or AVAST. Have had 4 people recently with slow computers, removing AVG has solved the problem.0

Your PC is generally slow?
Or your internet connections is slow?
Two very different things-which is it?
A bit more info needed-what OS are you running? What AV software do you currently have installed? No free lunch, and no free laptop

Probably is malware, but if the previous suggestions don't work one other thing to do is to check your harddrive hasn't reverted to PIO mode. It should be DMA.

Registry - "1202 problems found"
temporary Internet files " 4399 files found"
junk files " 2454 files found"
recycle bin "18 files found"
broken shortcuts " 21 files found"
what does the above mean ?
going to do the other 2 scans now0 -
CCCleaner info really just means you had a lot of junk files, duff short cuts because either you made them and later uninstalled the program but you did not delete the shortcuts, I assume you told cccleaner to deal with them. Registry probs usually because programs rarely remove all of their references in the registry when you uninstall.0
