Had slightly more sleep last night.. I got in bed picked up my knitting did one row and my eyes were forcing to close so I just went to sleep..

I have buns to ice, and dinner to make for tonight, jellies to finish and 'dead finger' sandwiches to make.. I'll do rice later so it will still be safe to eat.. I am still slightly wary of rice after I made me incredibly ill!

    Morning All,

Cats fed, WM on, 1st lot on the line as it might rain later.

Vacuumed downstairs, beds made, (except DS1's, he's still in it).

Cuppa time, hugs, spoons and sticks to all in need.

    Morning all

cas Vegas was lovely (and I never got to see any non-flyladies IYSWIM) even though the journey was NOT good. A1 shut and I am NEVER EVER joining the A1 from the M62 ever ever again....I shall nip down to Darrington and get on it there...

Got home - mysterious letter with key points highlighted which was, apparently, a complaint sent to a hire firm complaining about their employee who parks a truck outside my house all weekend. Driver of said truck now knocking on doors to see who has sent it - he shall get short shrift if he asks me. I have an education and can punctuate and format letters properly, so no, it wasn't me:rotfl:
Besides which I have already checked and the truck is within the limits and can be parked here. I checked two years back, so while I am not happy I know I can do nothing about it so I haven't!

Went out for a delicious meal at The Poacher's Rest and never got my dessert...because they had bought me a birthday cake with sparkler numbers on  and a gorgeous bouquet! *feels all special*

  • Morning everyone.
Well the light factor has gone up a million times here today. Yesterday is was dark all day, today we've got clear blue skies and sparkling sunshine. Scotland eh!!!
Poor DS2 is still ill. Fainted in the bathroom and DH had to carry him to the sofa where he's having those horrible "being sick but can't be sick because you've already sicked everything up" sessions. I feel so sorry for him, he's so pale and looks far younger than his 10 years.

Pigpen Now there's a thought.... Must make a point of looking in peoples gardens to see if they have any. Going to sow some up at the allotment next year I think.

Dippypud Joining you in a cuppa then off for my lists..... x
