Lamewolf, she is lovely. So gentle with the boys too. She seems to be coping very well without Dakota. DS2 was also upset when he heard she had passed away :( he really wanted to meet her. He's called his toy wolf he came home with (to add to the huge collection) Duma Dakota. Loosing 3 in 18 months isn't good at all, fingers crossed they get some newcomers at some point. They've had to seperate Mai off too as Mosi is being a minx. Have you ever visited the Anglian Wolf Society?
I've visited many times - they're only 17 miles away from us - but not very recently, as access to their site is all but impossible for me now.:(

Piggers I'm sending NOT-lupus vibes to Ashleigh; it's a horrid illness, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy!

Mudders I bet Stripes is loving her walks; hope all goes well Monday.

    Seafarers brilliant news!:T

Shysarah Once you've got over the shock, be happy! It's gotta happen sooner or later, right? And the sooner you get the op out of the way, the sooner you're back on your feet enjoying a pain-free life. (((HUG)))

Nice lady from hospital waiting list department has just rung...

They have a cancellation so Monday I am going for a pre op and then I will be in (all being well) for my Gallbladder removal on 10th November..

    :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Am all shaken now, I knew it was coming and all but am now really scared and do not know what to do with myself.

Got to start planning too as I will be laid up for 2/4 weeks after. As soon as I told mum she started reeling off things I need to organise but tbh right now I am kinda shaken.. :rotfl: stupid me..

Does anyone have a pre-operation check list or if you think of things that I should do please let me know it would be appreciated as right now I am a mess!!

    TIA

    Scatty - Sarah x

Don't worry Sarah, the pre op assessment is a breeze.
They will take a blood test to determine blood type
    Height & weight etc
    Possibly a urine sample
This is all to ensure that you are well.
You maybe should take a list of medication.
They will then explain the procedure to you and ask if you have any questions.

Very best of luck, it will all be worth it.

Must have been 14/15 with a mask on, too old for trick or treat so sent packing and I'll have to get DP to sort the gate tomorrow as now it won't line up..... Grrr!
One day I might be more organised...........

    .

Much better thanks Dusty - stopped feeling like someone has whacked my jaw with a hammer. The grim bit is that the boys school had a visit from the county dental specialist the day after and s/he and the class decided I lost a tooth because I drink too much coke - DS1 said I clean my teeth constantly so it couldn't be that for which I guess I should be grateful :o.
