    Hi All,

OH out this eve, he'll be popping in for a bite to eat shortly & then off out for the eve, so I'm about to do a HHC to see how caught up I can get. The plan is then to chill out later watching what he considers carp on TV (i.e. anything that's not the Simpsons, Road wars or CSI in his book). Am trying to catch up with Fred, so maybe some of that later too...

Hugs & Spoons to all as needed.

    :hello:Hi ladies!

Another productive day - decluttered an inch or so of hair this morning, so am looking much less shaggy!

I have also decluttered two large bags to Oxfam, accompanied by DS1 :D, and two toys went to a freegler, with a very large bag of colouring/puzzle books - I also cleaned the bit of the kitchen cupboard which was previously housing these books. I have space!!

After lunch, DD and I took up the old carpet, underlay and gripper rod, and took it to the tip, then came home and washed down the walls. DD has just polyfilla'd the walls.

Not really on the list, but I think it'll be impossible to do the main bedroom around the mountain of stuff from DFD's room.

    :bdaycake:Happy birthday cyclingyorkie's DD!:bdaycake:

Well, I did HHI, then vegged in front of the telly!!!
Did notice earlier though that a street down from me where the loxal shops are, that where an estate agents was(didn't last long), a charity shop is opening....good news as nearly impossible to park near the one in the nearest village. Not sure how long it will last though as 2 estate agents have shut there as well as the bakery/ cafe and dress hire shop, the dog grooming place and the hairdressers/sun tanning place(not at the same time but 2 closures....this is now to become a barbers....sure the 2 hairdressers in the same row will be pleased!!!)

Need to do tea dishes(...OH's and DD's...I'm still stuffed from lunch), put the ironing board away and await tesco delivery between 8 and 10......oh, must check there is money in the bank for that!!!! xx

ILL!! So annoying...honestly I'm not an ill person but these last few months I've seemed to have caught everything going. Have a throat infection and i've never had such an awful sore throat in my life. Came on so quickly yesterday starting with my bad back! So i've done nothing but sleep today! DD1 and DD2 were at friends houses and DS got collected by my mum. Its times like these that I hate being a single mum, when you just need someone to look after you:sad:

Anyway just going to take the time I need to get better and DD1 is going to have to be my Flylady for a couple of days! I have managed 2 x wm and 1 x td so at least i've done something!!:)

    Evening all,

Sorry I've not been around since yesterday, but got a call from my Mum last night to ask if I could look after my Nana today as my Mum had hurt her neck and couldn't go, so have spent the day feeding her food and medication and flying at her house and being a shoulder to cry on when she's in pain and despairing, then drove to my Mum's to give her her medication that she'd left at my Nana's and make her tea as she can't get out of bed, then come home to feed the cat and Moon. Has been one of those days today where I've not stopped - don't know how my Mum does it all the time! Luckily I'm still full from the meal we had at lunch, so I'm just going to have something light for dinner.

Glad to hear that it went well at the hospital msgnomey and that things seem to be improving a bit.
Pleased that you've got the school application underway vanilla - it sounds like your DD will be much happier there.
Hello serena - you've been busy! How is your ear now? Hope you're feeling back to your normal self again, and that your DD appreciates the efforts in her new room.
Pleased to see you posting jasper - I was worried about you when you didn't come back! Well done for telling OH to bogof too! We are a very supportive bunch here so I'm sure you'll settle in in no time. Quite a few posts were written after you posted to you, so if you've not read back in the old thread, have a little look - they may spur you on.
How are you doing tootles? Hope you got the PM I sent to your other username. Sending love and spoons your way along with the little bit of sunshine we had here this afternoon.
Pigpen how is your sister doing? Hope it's nothing too serious, and that they can do something to help her. How are you coping with Freja? Is your OH helping out?
Cyclingyorkie I hope you all have a fab time out at your DD's birthday meal tonight - I'm thrilled for you all that she is feeling well enough to go out now. Wish her a Happy Birthday from me too.
Stick with it vibes to Hellyboo for the potty training - Moon and I had a discussion the other day about potty training being so much harder for boys because of the standing up thing.
Natty - lovely to hear your bird reports again - was telling my Nana all about them today, as she loves birds. Fingers crossed the upping of your medication is easy to adjust to.

Hugs and get better soon vibes for all of the ill flyladies or children or OHs of flyladies.
Congratulations to all flyladies who've recently got jobs - sorry I can't remember names, but I know I forgot to mention it on last week's thread, so belated wishes sent your way.

    Froddy and LadyL
would you like to have a mini meet down here on Friday as there is a flylady meet going on "up north"?

Well I'd better go and empty the DW as it was full of clean stuff when I left the house this morning, but I had no time to do it then.

    All my love,

    sexymouse x

Hope you feel better soon nattyt, take care of yourself xx
  • Oooh I'm slipping today. Went swimming with some friends (1 and 1/2 hours in the pool!!), then McDs for a late lunch. Shopped and visited the bank. Home around 4 so got the WM on then spent over an hour counting and bagging change I'd collected a long time ago and forgotten!! (found it in the back of the floordrobe the other week!!). Made tea-soup and bread for me and a sandwich for DD the I've been sorting my finances for november as its payday on friday. It'll be a tight month as I got some christmas presents the other day and put them on the DC instead of the CC by mistake-they'd have been to pay for next month if I'd got it right. Still it does me good to limit my spending. Makes me feel a little tight when I tell DD she can't have what she wants when she wants because we are saving for christmas and her birthday, but I want her to realise that money doesn't grow on trees. In the same vein I have told her that when she is 6 she can have £1 a week pocket money but only if she does a couple of easy jobs everyday-putting her washing in the linen box and bringing all her rubbish and crockery into the kitchen and binning it/ putting for washing up. I don't know if its bad to make her do things for pocket money at such an early age but I want her to realise money has to be earned.
Anyhow I've done very little flying. I'll have to cach up on sunday when DD spends a few hours at Grandmas!!
    July grocery- 24.40/220. NSD-1/3.
Myself, DD, 2 cats, 35 weeks pregnant.
    Debts- CC's- V-775, F-1253.10, BC-3291.80, T-1429.08. Total-6748.98. All 0%. Aim- to pay £200 per month.

OOOO lemon cake in the oven, new recipe with no fat so not sure what it will be like (and I didn't have any baking powder so I used SR flour instead of plain) smells good, hope it tastes ok as DD loves lemon cake but she could do with losing a bit of weight and our normal version of lemon cake is very high calorie. This one has purreed boiled lemons in!!!!!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
