Sitting having a little chuckle at the girl doing the pedicure, she was probably wondering if she would have to catch the baby. :rotfl:

All you can do is try to enjoy this last bit of time with no baby, as it will all get so busy once you have him/her. Speedy spontaneous labour vibes heading your way. My waters broke both times in the small hours of the morning. Ds2 was at 3:30am, and he was with us by 6:30. I've never gone to full term so not had to experience the sweeps and induction side of it, but i guess you just have to get the practical head on and see it as a means to an end. You just get to the want it over with stage don't you.

    Thoughts are with you xx
  • Thanks, michelle I don't mind the sweeps...or the induction but the induction makes a C section more likely which having escaped them x2, I don't really want to end up with this time!

I hope you don't have to wait too much longer..I was over with my last 2.

I just popped on to tell you that the pampers from amaz0n are slightly lower price today if you haven't already ordered them , I order from here : http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003P2UU46/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&s=drugstore&psc=1 my size 4 are 29p cheaper today so getting 3 more nappies than normal,so I may order a pack.

I presume you're buying Size 3 ( 9lb plus ) which is £9.71 for 120. I don't know if that helps you or not but thought I'd give you a shout.

    Good luck!

    x
I can't be bothered updating this anymore
  • Thanks, iris. DD2 is out of nappies (phew just in the nick of time!) and I have got some newborn ones off amazon. Presumably I can go on and change the size for next month's delivery if I need to...?

Cheers for the heads up. Weird to think that later babies can come late, IYSWIM? I always imagined first babies more likely to be late.

If you're changing the size cancel the subscription and resubscribe. I think that's the only way to do it.

Mine were late as it was a different father ...and he's always late so only natural his babies were. I didn't mind it too much though its the false starts that's the worst though isn't it ..when you keep thinking this is it.
I can't be bothered updating this anymore
  • Thanks for that, I will cancel then, since in a month I may well be needing the next size, well, baby will!

Yes, Amen to that about the false starts, I have been thinking the same thing nearly all week.

I know it's easy to say but try not to worry. Babe is laying down the last bits of fat and building reserves s/he needs for their journey to meet you. I know it feels like forever but these next few days and hours will be quickly forgotten but are crucial to your baby :A

Is there any particular reason why you think you might end up with a cx?
    Updating soon...
