When I retire to Spain I want a little hairy mongrel called Maisie or Daisy. But a while ago I dreamt I had 2 sausage dogs - a red one called chorizo and a black one called morcilla (black pudding). In my dream I was explaining to the villagers that we call daschunds sausage dogs, hence the names. Was v impressed with my Spanish when I woke up as in reality I can just about order my drinks & dinner :rotfl:

She's a choccy lab who is yet a twinkle in her Daddy's eye. Ready Feb we hope. I like sequin.
Well lots to do today, DH has to phone ebac as our dehumidifier has packed up, then the farmer who does stuff for us as we have to sort out drainage in our field, and loads of faffy decorating to do, acres of lino to tip. MIL still in hosp.
Hatching a plan to get a new car on an interest free credit card, but wanting to spend about 17k, is this totally bonkers? At the moment the combined ages of our cars is about 30...and neither is a vintage one! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
yes GFH you are mad. What do you fancy?? you don't need a new new car. presuming the 17k car is spit new you could pick up same under 3 year old with miniml milage for about 8k or even less.MF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000

Right, fireplace finished, it looks lovely and shiny and the wood is so much less dried out. Touched up the paint in our bedroom, and made myself sick and dizzy with the fumes (d'oh).
Lino is gone, and DH just has to call the farmer about the field.
Dry cleaners rang wanting us to pick up the curtains today, bloomin' cheek, its a 10 mile trip for no other purpose so we said no.
Meal planning done and shopping list written, fire on. NSD yay! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
