lol, it takes practice. You will get a notification if someone else comments (bids). If you want to you could check it again just before auction ends to see if yours is still highest bid.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

About ten hours left...61 watchers now - surely someone will bid??
Today my timesaving tip is to have a notebook and pen by my bed for brilliant ideas - how I'm supposed to write in the dark I don't know.
Yesterday I got to park outside the doctors' (rather brilliantly there is no parking) then got in to see the doc with DD1 ON TIME (usually they run 40 min behind). I got a pharmacist in boots who was polite and seemed to know his job (normally if you get one out of two you are lucky here) and to top it all, he made up the prescription IN THE TIME HE SAID.
So maybe it's more how other people value one's time than how one values one's own time?
I did manage to order a tank of oil (£598) and scrape against my CC limit...oops!Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

I'm tempted to rip my DW out of the kitchen and list it on ebay! I would hope for a bid though and I hope you get one soon. Yikes at the price of the oil, will that last you all Winter?June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0

It might last until Feb. It's heating, clothes drying and cooking, so the leccy bill is low.
Don't rip out your DW. I'm lost without mine! Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -
I wouldnt be able to live with out a dishwasher... even to the point while house-hunting if the house has a kitchen that we wouldnt need to replace... but no DW i give it the swerve. My DM always said i was a snob, and it was a pointless expensive item, that is until she got her new kitchen and built in DW, now she cant live without it!!0
