Why are some family members a nightmare??? At least it's not a huge audience for her to be offensive in front of. Get your puppy involved in things as much as you can!

Just had a look at the kitchen, I'm getting really excited now. It's an annoying, pretentious expression, but "knocked back" describes the colours perfectly.

    Yeah does it mean something??

My Mum kneecapped me for fussing over SIL. Which is ironic as she normally tries to wind me up to fever pitch.

I've just found the most gorgeous liberty print oilcloth to line the pantry and cupboard shelves. Very art nouveau.

I predict a bidding war. Hope you're feeling better soon.

  • I still have no bids - can I bubble wrap it? That's a heck of a lot of bubble wrap.

Very very sad and shocked by the Taunton motorway crash, God Rest their souls and Bless their families. DH drives through that bit on the way to work.

I am reading "Time management for Manic Mums" well, I've read it. It is light years better than the one written by the Mail columnist that we were chatting about.

This week I have to value my time at the going rate (about £25 I reckon) and audit at the end of each day what I have done to value my time and how I can do better tomorrow. I also have to choose a tip from the book each day and use it. Today I have filled a Hallowe'en Celebrations tub with batteries (sorry, Science teachers, cells) and another with bulbs.

Wish me luck...if all the above is correct, being on here I am spending about £100 a day!!
