Zig, that sounds too tough, glad your mum's getting some help. Don't forget to take care of yourself too.
Hugs to Tete too! Come back soon, everyone misses youand we all need a whinge (even when everything's supposed to be beer and skittles!)
Dinah, your house will be sorted soon enough - sounds like NIM's on the case - it might feel like it's taking forever, but you haven't been in that long!
I feel nervous about hosting Christmas this year! It's exciting and I'm quite relaxed, but I'm worried there's something I've forgotten! I break up from work on Wednesday - yay!LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Gosh that sounds awful Zig, I think Lara may be onto something, just having someone to talk to might give you a bit of insight into how you can best help yourselves and others around you.
Tete, been reading your blog, how much stuff do you find the time to make! Feeling very inferior here! I haven't had the sewing machine out since about 2 weeks after the course ended. I'm very impressed with that bag though, looks flawless. Is there any way I can subscribe to your blog and Cinny's via email does anyone know? I never remember to log on blogger to check, but I get loads of blogs emailed to me which is what I spend my lunchtimes at work doing (well, that and onepoll).
Have had an email off a lady on Amazon saying the video camera we sent doesn't work. Now it was brand new, and has a warranty, so I've suggested she contact the manufacturer. Which I hope she'll do as we REALLY can't afford to pay her back when we can't even afford to tax NIMs car to get to work atm.
Mum gave me £50 today which apparently she owed me. I thought she only owed me £40 so that was good. £20 of that went straight away though, as I had a hair appointment - anyone who has seen the wedding or honeymoon pictures knows just how long my hair is. Or was. It's now just past my shoudlers - in my mind it looks a bit like the original Rachel cut from the first season of Friends. Feel a bit more grown up now at any rate.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I got rid of TV to try to free up more time to be creative/set up businesses .... but still not enough hours in the day... I think I need to farm NIM out somewhere a few nights a week!
Starting to go a bit mental with the whole business start up thing. Can't get figures out of my supplier, which means 7 months after the first meeting we're still not in a position to launch, despite repeated assurances it'll be in a fortnight. ARGH!!!!!
Builder is taking us to court it seems. On the one hand this is a good thing as it'll settle the matter, on another it's scary and I'm not looking forward to it.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

That is scary about being taken to court Dinah, what happened there? Think I may have missed it.
Sounds a nightmare about the business, lets hope things get moving soon for you.
I have spent the afternoon wrapping presents and then doing the ironing which has been sat there rather a long time. Place is looking sliglty more respectable though which is good.0 -
Wow...seems everyone has lots of stressors going on at the minute!
Things are terrible here. The new job that OH was supposed to be starting is causing real headache, he was supposed to start two weeks ago and finished his old job - but still hasnt started at the new one! Really is the wrong side of Christmas not to be earning money.
I'm only working part time as well so things here really are direBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0
