All joking aside I am wondering if I could get away with using some spud in the mash instead of going for all grain, its either gonna be awesome or deadly

mmmm may be time to consult Mr Google to confirm the addition of Mash. Especially if it could be considered deadly.

CMD - I think my scan was a bit rushed as they forgot about me, OH wasn't there as well so couldn't share it with him. The gender scan I had was probably my fave as they took ages to show me everything.

Birdie - the shortlist for names so far is Poppy, Heidi, Lily and Summer... we will see though!

What has been going on here this evening!

I have been busy making some biscuits for my secret santa pressie for my friend tomorrow. Poor OH is stuck at work because of student protests, thankfully he isn't involved in controlling them!

    We miss you Tete!

Poitin? I *might* have a few bottles hanging around. *Pulls out several innocent looking 'vodka' bottles*

No, definitely not what you are looking for. Tame old vodka. A mere 37.5% proof. Pah!

Totally bemused by the gibberish spoken by NIM and Poolie last night, is this how you guys feel when we go all Shoe Talk on you?!

I'm glad your OH wasn't in the middle of that madness yesterday Wendz! I can't believe what was happening, total mob mentality eh? Poor Charles and Camilla getting their car attacked, I'd have been terrified!

I like the names you've shortlisted too, very pretty! I like Poppy and Lily... maybe I have something for flowers?!

Well done on the etsy sale Dinah! Very exciting stuff!

I've been missing Tete too, where are you?!

Sold a flip video camera last night for £100, which is great because we also discovered yesterday that we forgot to tax NIMs car so it's 10 days expired- so we've had to shove it on the drive until we can find some form of documents/money.

Freaking out a bit about the whole 'exercise or get a knee replacement' thing - I've asked a lad at work if he can get me a guest pass to his gym, as its near my house, and cheapest chain gym in the area.

Well at least it's not just me who's useless when it comes to taxing cars! Hope you don't have to end up making the trip to the magical land of the DVLA office like I had to!

I think that it's really important to keep your knee strong, not only will the regular exercise keep you fit (and slim!) but if it'll help prevent a knee replacement () in the future then that'd sell it to me!

Oh I know! But... I download my favourite shows and stick them on my phone, 40 minute-ers are best, and watch them whilst I'm on the machines. Gives me something to focus on and next thing I know I've been cross-trainering for half an hour! I quite like the weights but really don't enjoy cardio. Been tonight for the first time this week, feel much better for it!
