Thats fantastic news Wendz, so pleased about the scan.

I got NIM a remote control helicopter off ebay a few years ago, it was under £30 delivered and its pretty good.
    Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81
    Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off
    Met NIM 23/06/2008
  • Delighted for you Wendz!

I had a low lying placenta and had to go back at 36 weeks to check it had moved up or else I would have had to have a C-section. It had moved when I went for the scan.

Do you have to have another scan as well or is it fine the way it is?

They didn't really say anything about it just that they would make a note so will see what happens. From what I have searched it is only a problem if it doesn't come out properly or something.

Sounds like they might have it in their notes for your labour maybe?

Did you really enjoy the scan? I ended up having to have 5 for various reasons but the 20 week scan was by far my favourite. I loved it!

Very quiet in here. Where is everybody?

NIM - Do you think it is safe if we come out and talk about the football and start a party?

I'm here Poolie so don't start the football talk! Pleeease!

Glad the scan went well for you Wendz :D

Not working today so I've done all the house work, written our shopping list and clipped coupons for tomorrow and been shifting money around our bank accounts. Waiting for the sofa man to come and fix Vernon so I'm holding off getting all our paper bits out to figure out how on earth we're going to pay our debts off. Also got all of OHs new work shirts to wash and iron but we've rebooked our holiday so I've got a whole week before they need to be done. Still, totted our debts up this morning and our whole debt stands at £1639. OH is stressing as he can't see any way that we can tackle it, but it isn't really that much compared to others and there's always a way. Right? We'll be fine!

Football no, Rugby on the other hand ;)

You get the beer and I'll go pick up some munchies.

Anyone doing anything remotely interesting the last few days? Been running round for the Father in Law mixing plaster etc...I think I'm a builders labourer atm, that said I love the way the fireplace looks without any paint. The pale plaster looks really nice.
This was 6 months out of date so I've changed it.

Sorry to hear OH is stressing Cinny, he probably just wants to get it under control before it gets any worse - which is very sensible!
I am sure you will clear it in no time. How is the new house?

Aye I've payed off that much in under 2 months, and thats all from extra income earners not from our salaried wage. Easiest way obviously is getting a second job, or your OH doing overtime. After that do you have anything to sell, or make and sell? Then there is bits like slice the pie and writting reviews, but if they are the only way you're working towards it it'll be really slow! Is there no space in your budget for paying it back from your wages?

Sounds like a plan NIM. Don't mind a bit of rugby.
