Yeah I'm pretty pleased with my camera, it's this one. Haven't had a proper play with it yet as needed to charge the battery but it has options such as Aperture Priority which I thought were only available on SLRs. I had a sudden idea this morning to set up a little Etsy shop, as they're doing a press release and photo to go in various local papers etc - the runner up has his own gallery and website and everything so I thought it would be good advertising and so am quickly setting up a shop! No idea what to charge or anything so going to have to do some quick research, but nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Well done for the non response CMD, make sure you keep the email though as evidence should it ever come to that. Poor Max, I know how awful it is just having wisdom teeth come through

I'm regretting the magic cocktails now... and the champagne that one of the contractors bought us to celebrate his £300 win! Thankfully the office is very sedate today as everyone's in the same boat so I at least don't have to pretend that I'm fine!

Oooh we have a lumix (not as flash as that one though) and I absolutely love it.

Etsy is such a busy place it can be a little hard to stand out, so you need to be using the etsy message boards, using all 12 tags on every photo you list, tweeting about your shop, running competitions on your blog, basically using the full arsenal of social media to get noticed. Also try to list new prints individually not lots in one hour, and do them to coincide with the evening in the US (ie late as possible in the evening) so they pop up on the front page as newly listed when people are browsing. x

Oooh Tete, also join as many circles as you can, and 'Favorite' similar sellers, I sometimes find nice things through looking at the people linked to the seller's page that I'm already on, if that makes sense! Like following people on Blogger.

Thanks girls for the advice, it's probably a bit slapdash but I thought best to set it up in time for the press release going out rather than later. I'm feeling all sort of Superwoman after the Three Peaks and like I can do anything, let's see how this goes! I've set up my little shop, Lucy's Lens, but need to prettify it and can't do that til I can get home to my hard drive of pics.

Yeah I love the lumix, I have an older version but it's 3 years old now and has spots on the lens so it was nice to be able to upgrade for free

Haha, yeah LOADS, working through my 101 list I'm supposed to be doing the Gateshead 10k next weekend, but I'm not very prepared for it! MUST get back into my running, but it's so hot!

Yeah I saw it's forecast rain tomorrow so will get my gym kit together tonight. I'm at 9% now with a few things in progress...
