Hi kids, am just back from having my new camera presented to me! Stoopid woman off the local weather never turned up though but never mind we had fun without her. Cringy awkwardly posed photo to follow in local press :eek: It was so nice to be out and about in the sunshine instead of stuck at work, these jobless types have the right idea!

I hesitate to say this but I'll say it anyway - that house I lived in last winter was so well ventilated that you could see through to the outside on some walls and we still had enough condensation to give us a full bathroom ceiling's worth of mould within three months. It made my eyes sore (remember?) and I was sneezing constantly. And it was freezing. In September. I would have given my right arm for double glazing (and some insulation) in that place.

Anyhoo, I'll quickly distract from that by saying I've also given up on the Shred. It's just not practical for me at the moment - too much jumping about when the only place I can do it is the bedroom. So back to the running for me.

Cinny hope your granddad is OK! And hope you hear from Hovis/BMW soon, the swines!

Hope everyone else is well, have only skimmed the last few pages really. Ouch to the ligaments NIM!

I have to say I am with you Cinny on the double glazing. Our house has double glazing upstairs and single glazing downstairs - god knows why the landlord didnt just get the whole house done!
Upstairs is so toasty and warm in the winter, downstairs is cold and horrid! Also get a lot of condensation downstairs and the house is very well ventilated so its not that.

Glad your mum and baby group went well Wendz - must be nice chatting to people who are at the same stage as you Lol, I enjoy watching ducks too. Earlier in summer OH took me to a lambing farm. I think I mentioned it - I queued up with the mums and under-5s to bottle feed some lambs and he stood with the dad waiting to take a photo. Tee hee. Will be better when we can borrow someone's children!

Feel [STRIKE]a little[/STRIKE] very delicate this morning after the races! We took a kitty of £70 and we're only £9.75 down after a couple of stonking losses in the last 2 races so we did pretty well considering! Should have stayed away from the magic cocktail van though... :doh:
