I've been unclear, but you;ve answered my question I think.
You send in euro on it but converted the balance to £. I thought you were banking with BOI over here.
Yep - we pay off Euro but for the purpose of it all being in sterling here I have just converted it.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

No debt rut here, but I'm upping my flat hunting now that I'm not spending every spare minute walking up hills so am (hopefully) about to plunge myself into total skintness. Rent alone is almost half my take home pay, it's so depressing
But I just can't bear that I've taken such a huge step back in my life moving home, I need to get out!

I'm finding the cost of food has really increased at the supermarket. Also sandwiches are so expensive now! I took my friend out for lunch to say thanks for organising my hen party. We had 2 sandwiches, 2 drinks and 2 florentines and I had barely any change from £20.
After the wedding is paid off we will visit the financial advisor. I have no real idea the financial shape we're in. We don't have debts but neither do we have any sensible things like pensions or life insurance either:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

No wonder we spend so much time gabbing on about frivolities!
Aww thanks NIM you're a sweetie but I think living around a happily married couple is the last thing I want (b@st@rds)!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
That really is a lot of money Flower, I'm sure it'll get sorted in the end. Must be beyond a headache. I've always thought as long as you're meeting the minimum payments, you're keeping your head above it. Try not to worry too much about the debt.
Wendz & Tete - Ohhh dear. I'm a terror for crisps. They just be so tasty! I buy plain hula hoops for Rich which I HATE, so I'm not tempted to eat them. My Mum came around with a big bag of Walkers the other week though  Lead me not into temptation, I already know the way.
I get the cost of living part. I'm really worried about what's going to happen when things keep on going up. Our food budget is the only place we can cut back on really, I can feed us while spending next to nothing when I need to but even that's creeping up. And everyone says it's going to get worse. Which is fantastic *rollyeyes*
No cunning plan my way either, Dinah. If you post your SOA we might be able to point out areas you didn't think of? I know sometimes our budgets look so bleak, but then OH will look over it and point out things I didn't even think of. Fresh minds and all that!
I agree with Birdie. Lets get back to happy things like snap cups and Tete's blister! I'll accept fault for the sadness, sorry for mentioning money!0 -

I think my biggest worry at the minute is gas and electric going up again! If it were just us two, we would turn the heating off through winter and just make do with blanketts and extra layers. But as we'll have a baby in this winter we cant do that, baby has got to be warm.Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0
