Yeah I wasn't best pleased either. But the lady said sometimes they just get lost in the post or in the system. Sounds like a handy way to make an extra £25 per form by loosing a few thousand 'in the system' each year!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

How annoying Dinah! Could you go to the garage and demand your £25 reimbursed? EDIT - I guess not if they claim they sent it and it got 'lost'!
Mmm, swirly pizza thingies Cinny! Did you try one? They're AMAZING! I won the prize that month for the bake off thing with those, tho I think I might have been the only one to enter on the Flickr group! Waiting for my cookbook to arrive
I watched Geordie Shore last night, has anyone else seen it? (Might only be of interest to North Easterners!) - was pretty grim! I'm glad I don't go out round Newcastle anymore if that's the state of the clientele!
Thanks again girls for your sponsorship money overnight :T Have had more donations from my virtual friends than my real ones
but don't worry, I'll guilt trip them when I do the Three Peaks :rotfl:My toenail finally fell off this morning so that was a relief, and seems to be growing well too, phew, my peep-toe bridesmaid shoes shouldn't look awful in December! Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Oh I didn't know Geordie Shore was on last night! What channel was it on, will see if I can get it on catch-up! I forgot to watch The Apprentice too, got stuck watching Baby Mama

That's really annoying about the log book Dinah, I had to pay that when I lost mine and it was so annoying in the DVLA office when I went (it was a quiet Wednesday afternoon) because I had to go to 3 different windows to be served by the same person who just moved down each time to serve me for the next bit... £25 for that?! On top of the cost of car tax....
Woohoo to the toenail dropping off! That took its sweet time!

I think I forgot to mention this mornings money news - woke up to find I'd made a £219 sale on ebay from an unneeded camera. AND as dads redundancy comes through next week we'll be paid for the car (another £350 once I've paid grandad for our share in the villa this summer) AND NIM got £230ish through from MSs last month, so between all these things we have enough to order the lounge flooring although we'll need to find another £200 or so to actually get it fitted. Things are moving on!
Dad also said once he's left full time work he's going to come over do some work on our house to get it finished, just an odd day here and there but I'm over the moon as it might mean we finally get it finished and on the market. We're talking about renting cheaply for a few months, save some money and be in a position to move quickly if a great bargain comes up.
