My OH hated turning 25 last year, said he was getting too old :rotfl:
When I turned 25 I thought - will I settle down or go mad for a few years? I chose to go on lots of hols and go mad for a few years. Although we did buy a flat when I was 26 and I did get married at 29 so did a few sensible things along the wayTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

That makes me a happy bunny too!
So is this definately your last one CMD?
I wish I had more time to go wild and be irresponsbile, but I have a huge fear it's going to take us a long time to conceive (I have a tilted uterus) so I don't want to wait more thana few more years. So instead I've gone to the other end of the scale by being a real slave driver so we can afford to travel and things in a few years.

OH announced to me two days before his 25th birthday that he wanted to have children by the time he was 25 :rotfl: not sure if he expected to steal a child and wrap it up for him!
Well only a year and a bit late with his request!Biggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Yep - defo the last baba Dinah! I think, with 2 children, we can have a good lifestyle and bring them on nice holidays and introduce them to different clutures which prob would't be possible if we had 3. Having said, 2 is all I want anyway, but I feel there are a lot of pros (for us as a family). 2 sets of our friends are on baby number 4. I don't know how they afford it as both men are out of work (Ireland).
I didn't know that a tilted uterus could cause problems with conceiving. My SIL has 1 and she conceived my nephew in month 1 and my niece in month 3. So take heart from that DinahTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Thats really good to hear. I was just told it could when I went for my first smear (well, second, the first one done by a nurse with 27 years experience and she couldn't find it, she was quite embarrassed as its the first time it had ever happened apparently .... had to go to the doctor to get it done and she's the one who said it could be an issue later on). Birdie - didn't know you were going to Florida! When is that? We went when I was 9 and 11 and I loved it. Really want to go back in a few years.
Cinny - exciting that it's nearly your birthday! Hope OH has something nice planned for you.
I was surprised at how keen my OH was to start a family but we are quite homely people so will suit us well... I hope!
