Awww thats really sweet Birdie - I especially love that he crossed it off your list! Now you just need to keep it tidy until the end of the 1001 days!
Now there's the real challenge! He even saw my goal of getting rid of 50 unwanted items and went through his wardrobe (what little he has compared to mine!) and picked out 3 old t-shirts to bin to give me a head start! I'm not sure that it was the best thing that he saw the list as he can get a little obsessive over them like a certain lady on here! :rotfl:
Very pretty dresses Lara, you must be getting more excited as things come together now!
Sorry to hear about the money woes Dinah and  to how much petrol you're getting through! Yay to finding surprise money in your bag though, wish that happened to me more often!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
NIM sees my lists as the only way he can be certain to get me something I'll like for birthdays, Christmas etc, or as a nice suprise. I'm so picky otherwise, and I have such a hatred of clutter!
Speaking of, this is an ebay weekend (shame it's not free listing!) - My aim is to finish listing the last 100 or so items in the ebay room, and then in 2 weeks anything that hasn't gone is going to the car boot (weather dependant). No one needs this much stuff! Benefit then is we can use the downstairs room as a second study (or guest room if we sell).
I really want to work on the business this weekend, but I need to have a clear house, plus any money I make will actually enable the business to get going. I do need to finish my grant application and drop it off though. Have about 4 hours left to do on that I think so I'll do that when NIM is mystery shopping.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Birdie - how lovely of your hubby.
Dinah - Sorry to hear you are not doing so well with the money now, sounds like a few bits of badluck. Good luck with the ebaying.
Lara - love the dresses they are gorgeous.
Appointment went well yesterday, all looking normal and baby is head down still which is good news. We have got our all day antenatal class on sunday and we get a tour of the hospital. I need to decide whether i want to use birthing centre or the main hospital bit.0 -

Glad the head is down Wendz!
I chose to use the birthing centre as I wanted to have a water birth. I still had to go to the main bit of the hospital as Max got stuck, but I am so glad I started there. I think it depends on what type of birth you want. I found the main bit of the hospital more formal and more medicalised. Some people like knowing the pain relief is at hand though.

No blogs right now, just don't have the time. I am twittering on @EBTCake though.
Ebay weekend didn't happen - this financial forecast is beating me up! I've been spending 8 hours a day on it for about 5 days now. Really hoping to finish it tonight.
Currently trying to work up the courage to ask my boss if I can do a bake sale in the office kitchens to try to raise some money for Japan.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

The bake sale is a wonderful idea Dinah. It is so terrible what has happened in Japan. I have a good friend there and he is fine but he says he nearly feels guilty for being safe and well.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I agree brilliant idea Dinah. I saw some man being interviewed on the news yesterday, he was saying he was so grateful for surviving, but him and his family had lost everything. He ended by saying maybe it would have been better if had died because he will never be able to provide for his family properly again, how sad:(
