Hehehe well the night before last she was scratching all night long on our bedroom door trying to get in, and after about an hour figured how to open the bedroom door. So she kept letting herself in *all night* and we had to get up and put her out. The next morning OH and I were sleep-deprived grumpy beasts, and we decided we should definitely wait a few more years before having a real baby :rotfl: a hairy one is enough right now.

Cats have a way of doing little things that make you smile every day. Even just getting stuck inside a paper bag. It's nice to have someone to play with :o And she snoozes cutely beside me on my sofa all day while I try to write something, anything about Kampala mobile phones :) Although she gets quite cross if I stroke her and wake her up, she makes this little chirping sound.

CMD – my sister lives with me and OH at the moment but should be moving out before baby arrives. My Mum and Dad live about an hour and a half away as do OH’s family.
Tete – hope you find something soon that will accept the cats.
Lara – maybe put a mat or something under the door to stop cat scratching up carpet if you have it. My Mum and Dad’s cats are constantly scratching at doors until my Mum gets fed up and shuts them in kitchen.
Just had my check up and mostly good. All measuring OK etc but I have slightly high blood pressure and a trace of protein so now have to keep an eye out for symptoms like flashing lights etc as could mean pre eclampsia... I am hoping the blood pressure is high due to the stresses I have had this week and will be fine next time i go in.

Hi everyone! Bit of a frantic day at work as the main receptionist was off so I had to take most of the calls and greet whoever came to the door. Not got much done on the new website front because of all of that so got lots to do tomorrow (when she's supposed to be off though so more of the same no doubt!).

Fingers crossed on the blood pressure front, wendz as the alternative sounds more than a bit scary!

Hi all. Funeral tomorrow, I have nothing to wear at all. Everything smart went mouldy and I can't wear jeans! I don't want to spend money on more clothes that'll end up mouldy, but I can't not have an outfit to wear. Bit sad and clingy today. Been wasting time on linkedin and twitter etc.

Went to zumba for the first time tonight. We had a real laugh even though we didn't have much coordination. I was suprised that I didn't find it very tiring though, it was hard in the sense that I struggled not to hit myself or anyone else in the face, but it didn't feel much like a workout. I bet I'm going to ache tomorrow though.

Dinah I hope it goes well today and you give your Grandma a lovely service.
Don't worry about what to wear, it really doesn't matter and the only people who will see are your family and friends who don't care what you wear anyway. If you're stuck, dark jeans and a black top wouldn't be so bad, or grab a £5 pair of trousers from Tesco maybe if you are worried about it.

I hope you're feeling better about everything today Tete, I worry about you when you have down days :( You'll find the perfect pet friendly place soon I'm sure, I have a friend who'll be renting her flat in Leeds shortly if you fancy the move?!

My thoughts are with you and your family today Dinah, hope all goes well.

I'm sitting here in uni, trying not to fall asleep at the computer! Only managed about 2 hours last night because a) it was so bloody cold in the house and b) we had a burgler trying to hide in our garden from the police! Scared the s**t out of me I have to say! Really want to go home to my nice warmish bed with the 2 duvets and a blanket I nicked last night. But alas I have to go to a tutorial with my lecturer :(

Ruby that's so scary, at least he was only in the garden!

Lara, there's some spray called Scratch No More which we used on the sofas to stop the cats getting up - it's quite pricey but might be worth it to save the carpet. It gets great reviews on the pets board here.

Thanks Birdie, I love Leeds - could be tempting. Can you find me a well paid, and yet interesting and rewarding job as well please?
