Brilliant news Birdie, what a brilliant start to married life. I'm quite excited to be changing my name - cos there is now two of us with the same name and I get all her flipping emails, ha!
So what does the job entail, or have I missed that part somewhere?0 -
Congratulations Birdie! I'm so pleased for you!
I wish I could go back to the days where I spent hours on here, and didn't have much to do. I am so busy it is ridiculous. Hopefully it'll pay off in the end but it isn't looking too good at the mo!
Hope everyone is wellDinah I look forward to following your business progress. And you'll get the hang of twitter eventually!
(I'm still getting used to it!)

The jobs a bit geeky really, it's called 'Quality Assurance and Release Analyst', so I'll be testing the new IT programmes that are being written for the company to make sure that they're fully functional, with no bugs and OK to be rolled out for general use. Not terribly exotic sounding but the money's in IT here and it's a good stepping stone for further advancement, and it appeals to me because I like to pick holes in things!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Job sounds like it suits you well Birdie ...not saying you are a geek hehe. Oh and I added you on Facebook yesterday if you didn't guess who I was.
Zig - are you in your final year of uni?
I had a little lie in today as got to go to hospital for a jab for my blood because it is negative (can cause problems with baby).0 -
I thought it was you Wendz, you and your OH are real cuties, your baby will be gorgeous!
Hope everything goes well at the hospital, I never knew that about the blood!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Aww thank you! I had apeak at all your hen do pics and looks like you had such a good time, is good you all put loads of effort in as all the outfits looked great.
You seem to learn something everyday while pregnant. The good thing is they check your blood type and then give you injection so shouldn't cause any problems.0 -
I've finally got the report done at work, now got to get the new website up and running by the end of the week instead! 2 days left to get that sorted ... eek!
Congrats on the job, Birdie!

Well done on the report Dippy!
Is very quiet on here today! How is everyone?
I am leaving work in a bit for midwife appointment, just a check up. Feel a bit guilty about all the time I have had to take off this week but they are lovely about it and they said they are impressed by how much work I am still doing and that I haven't moaned a bit.0 -
I wouldn't worry about it Wendz. You are entitled to the time off and it sounds like you are doing great at work.
Lol - I think some women use pregnancy as an excuse to put their feet up for the 9 months. Once my morning sickness went I felt on top of the world for the rest of the pregnancy. Did you have morning sickness?
One tip I will have you is to go to the cinema as much as you can before the baby is born and if you can try and take a mini break/holiday away. We were delighted we went to Oz when I was pregnant as it will be a long time before we make the journey with a baby. LolTotal (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I didn't really ever get morning sickness, felt a bit sick when i woke up but wore off pretty quick. I feel pretty good as well so far!
Would be nice to take a weekend away together or something but is difficult with OH working a lot of weekends. We are pretty low on money as well after the whole car thing in Jan! Will def try and get to the cinema more though.0
