I know where you're coming from with the food spending Dinah, we never seem to stick to a strict budget and since everything comes from the same account we never know quite how much gets spent on what, just that it's all gone by the end of the month! It sounds like you're getting there with the business plans, hope it's all set up and making money soon!

We've just found out that our pay date is changing from every 4th Friday to the 20th of every month. Not too sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. We'll be getting more each month because we'll be getting paid 12 times a year rather than 13 but there's longer to go between pay days. The change is happening in April/May and I'm fairly sure there'll be a longer period between transitional pay days that'll leave us a bit skint!

It's my interview this afternoon, eeek! I've already had a couple of comments about looking 'smart' but I'm saying nothing in case it jinxes it! I had to tell my 'big' boss (since my immediate boss is a kn0bhead and doesn't actually speak to me!) about it on Friday and he's really supportive because it's a step up, letting me take the time off to go to the interview as it's an internal move and wanting me to tell him how it goes which is nice. I just hope the new manager interviewing me likes me!

Not sure if I was like a prune after 8 hours in the water. I'm sure I probably was but at that stage I was 9cm dilated and Max had been stuck for a few hours so was in too much pain to care what I looked like. Lol!!!

Set up facebook for the business (not launched yet as I need more info to put on the page), and twitter (EBTCake if anyone wants to follow the business (and I'd love anyone and everyone to! Plus you can keep updated and maybe find a little more about what it is... and I get some followers - yey!)AmyFeighery if anyone wants me on my scary new personal account as I got confused nd managed to set up both! I think I should have some @'s or #'s there somewhere, as I say, I'm new to this). Also set up Etsy, but not ebay or paypal yet as I want to link them to the business bank account, and that meant going upstairs in the cold and finding the card... didn't get done.

Have an etsy print to pick up tonight - annoyingly I didn't have preprinted versions of these so had to pay to get it done, doubt I made more than about £2 in the end! Not even that when you take petrol into account.

Payday tomorrow, thank God. NIMs bonus is due this month, £100 will go to pay my brother back, and I think another £100 will go off the credit card, and the last little bit will be a birthday treat of dinner out together.

Well I think the interview went well, the new department manager was really nice and seemed impressed, although she seemed to zone in on my French A Level, whilst I tried to explain that it was a long time ago and I'm not fluent she kept saying, 'Ooooh that's good, we've got a lot of French people here so we could use a go-between' Think the French OU course I've been putting off for the last 2 years may have to be considered again! :eek: I hope to hear soon, this role is a trainee role so hopefully my lack of experience won't count against me too much!

I don't do Twitter (the whole thing confused me the first time I looked at it!) but I'll keep an eye on the Facebook page once it's going! what does EBT stand for?

Twitter isn't confusing, it's really easy! I'm a bit of an addict, even worse now I've got my iPhone and I'm just constantly like 'OMG, I'll tweet it!' You should get on it Birdie, it's fun! I'm @biscuithead_ if anyone else is on it, I've already got Zigs! I'll find your accounts and follow you when I get home Dinah. Or at work if my computer decides not to lag. Fingers crossed for you Birdie, when do you find out? Yikes about the French though, I've got a degree in it and would still have palpitations about having to schmooze the clients!

I'm not happy being back at work after my weekend in Ireland, was so lovely and relaxed. Photography was better last night tho something about the science did actually sink in I think!

My last day here is the 11th, they're going to pay me my new wage for the 2 weeks I'm away getting hitched and I start on the 28th in my new name! It's a bit of a pay rise, (£1500 extra) and I'll save a fortune in petrol. Oooooh I'm so excited! _party_
