I didn't really ever get morning sickness, felt a bit sick when i woke up but wore off pretty quick. I feel pretty good as well so far!
Would be nice to take a weekend away together or something but is difficult with OH working a lot of weekends. We are pretty low on money as well after the whole car thing in Jan! Will def try and get to the cinema more though.
Lol - lucky you. Morning sickness (really all day sickness) is horrible
Defo do the cinema thing. If you like the cinema it is the one thing you will miss when the baby comes along. Do your family live near you?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Hi girls, I've just popped on to check when the funeral is, not til tomorrow tho. Hope you're bearing up Dinah and family.
Wendz I think my friend had that thing with the blood - something about the baby being a different blood type if the father is + and you're - and your body detects this 'foreign body' in your womb and tries to destroy it? Probably made it sound a heck of a lot more scary than it is there haha - the jab makes it all OK though!
I'm having a bit of a rubbish day. Been looking at flats on rightmove and found a couple of potential affordable ones that aren't in some drugs hotspot but when I rang up it was just a flat 'NO' to pets. Remember we had such difficulty finding anywhere we could take the cats before, I'm just gonna have it all over again only with a much smaller budget to work withI feel like crying. I don't want to rehome them and anyway (even if I sound like a crazy cat lady saying this) the thought of living completely alone without even them to come home to is just so depressing. Augh, I hate my life!

(((Hugs))) Tete,
I don't know what to say to you as I don't have cats but I wouldn't want to rehome them either. Are you looking for a house share or a place on your own?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

A place of my own really, I think I'll have even less luck trying to find a share to accept them. Oh sorry to be depressing, I'm just having a down dayWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Sure that's what we are here for x
I would have thought a place of your own would be easier to find (with cats). It is a slow time of the year for properties anyway. I know we found that when we were looking in Scotland last week and we were just lucky to find one - but there was only 1 we saw that was suitable, and that was in a city.
Maybe stop looking for a couple of weeks and start up again and you might have more luck.
Hope your okay. Have you heard from your ex again?Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Actually there seems to be more promising looking ones now than there was before Xmas, I guess I'll just have to ring around them all and ask about the cats and stop being so defeatist. Am I being too honest in declaring the cats I wonder?! Sigh. Might be worth ringing ex-landlord to see if he'd give me a reference to say they haven't destroyed the house.
Of course, you're moving back to Scotland, when is that? Have you managed to find a creche yet?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Hey Tete
It's universally rubbish finding a new place, it's always a battle somehow. Sending big massive good vibes your way. Something great will definitely come up, and it'll be worth waiting a little longer for the cat friends to come along.
How about next time meeting with the owners / estate agents before you tell them about the cats, so they can see how nice you are? They might be more likely to let you off that way. Also I might just tell them about one cat, but then I am probably not as honest as you
Life might suck a bit now but it's going to get a lot better when ex OH is long forgotten and you're in a lovely flat of your own, styled beautifully with upcycled furniture and crafty bedspreads. And lots of room for people to come around, hang out (and maybe a few romantic liaisons??).
Hope your move goes really well too CMD, and hugs to you too Dinah.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0 -

I think Lara speaks a lot of sense Tete
We are moving mid-Feb. It is all coming along nicely so far. The creche are to get back to me with regards days so fingers crossed. Everytime I think of leaving the lovely mothers and babies I have met I get a lump in my throat but I know it is the right decision for us.
OH has been offered a transfer into the area he wants in work and all going well he should be making very good money in a couple of years and we will have more options for moving home.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Yeah I could do that maybe - ask in person. But then I don't want to waste my time going to view somewhere if they're going to say no anyway. Augh, I'll be fine, just having a bad day. Something will come along. How's things going with Holly?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
