I do too. Can you not raise a dispute - I thought a bid was a binding contract! Have you got the car advertised in the local papers etc? How you feeling today - apart from the ebayrage?

Bless you about the lunch Dinah, your head must be all over the place.
How annoying about ebay! Wish they wouldn't let stuff like that happen!0 -
It is supposed to be a binding contract, but all ebay ever do is give you the fees back. Guess local paper and my work intranet is the next step.
Feeling okay, no crying today, need to call grans other pension provider and sort that out.
Starting a pilates class tonight. Need something to calm me down, and hopefully it will strengthen the knee. Bit nervous about going alone mind. I always try to do things with friends but don't know anyone who'd have been interested!
Closed the bedroom door last night to keep the cat out. Felt very guilty but I slept right through, ususally i wake up about 10 times, so i feel a LOT brighter today.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Hopefully you'll have a bit more luck locally then - at least people can come and view it if they want and it's more straightforward.
I love pilates - so much better than yoga I think, just done a class actuallyTell the 'teacher' at the start about your knee and they'll be able to tailor it a bit for you, or at least advise which ones you should sit out. I'm supposed to be going to Aquafit tonight with a friend but I don't fancy it at all - don't like that fact that it doesn't start til 8pm and that it means being cold and wet in January, and it seems sill to pay £4 a week for this class when I got my gym membership and classes at work for £8 a month! I'll probably go to this one and then say I didn't enjoy it and not go again!
I know what you mean about feeling daunted though, I started a photography course last night and it was a bit scary, but seemed everyone was there on their own so not too bad in the end!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Did you enjoy it? I did photography a-level but I have to admit I've not done much since.
Pilates was different to what I expected. I've done it a lot in the past and this was supposed to be beginners and improvers, but dear God it was basic. It was a lot more breathing focussed which was good as I found it very calming, but it didn't challenge me or even stretch me in any way really. I'm hoping next week is a bit, well, more, but if not I know I need the intermediate course next time! The good thing is none of it was open chain so I could do it all with my knee.
Money is crap, as usual. We were kind of couting on selling the car to meet the minimum payment on the big CC this month. Eek.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I did, but it wasn't very beginner considering it said it was. Most people there seemed to have a good idea of what everything meant like ISO etc, whereas I have a vague idea only. One girl had even done a photography degree (admittedly 17 years ago with a normal SLR not a DSLR but STILL!) - I'm hoping with a lot of practice though I should be able to get to grips with it.
Glad you braved it to pilates, I'm aching today from yesterday's. Weighed myself this morning and I'm under 10st for the first time since I was about 17 ... hearbreak diet the most effective diet everIt's not that I'm not eating because I am, I'm just not enjoying food I guess. Sigh.
Have you got the car listed in the paper? Why not put a note on Facebook saying you're selling it, and a photo - I've seen people do that with allsorts, and I think they have a proper marketplace bit now too ... worth a go?
Hope you're feeling OK today xWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
I always wonder why people who know what they're doing go on beginners courses for things, it ruins it for the real beginners because you feel stupid asking questions when everyone else already knows the answer! I hope to see lots of nice photos taken with your fancy new camera once you learn how to work it like a pro!
I hope you're looking after yourself, how are you doing with your 28 things list?
Any more lunch mix-ups this week Dinah?! Sorry about the car man pulling out, I don't know how people can sleep when they do things like that, I'd feel awful knowing that I was the reason they were out of pocket. Someone else could be driving your car round quite happily right now if it wasn't for him! Idiot!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Me too, so sorry to hear about the car lady. Ill-timed unnecessary stress, hope you have some cheery things within reach like cat cuddles nice dinners and watching films with NIM.
I'm struggling with uni work a lot, going to meet up with a very nice guy from uni who also lives in London. (Am stuck, so am skiving). Hopefully get to have a good moan and pic his brain for ideas. Tete, the photography course sounds cool. I too don't get the ISO thing even though OH trained as a photographer and has tried to explain loads of times. But we had a great course at uni with this photojournalist and we managed to take some amazing pictures on auto-focus.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0
