Not sure where this as comment has come from but the op said this in her first post.

    So she did not say:

She has the receipt for the first one that she bought, it was marked as returned.

Any reasonable person would allow her to return the goods with that sort of proof.

Silly me, I meant to say exchanged.

You appear to be making things up as you go along! :T

How does crossing out something on a receipt prove anything?

Again I'm basing my argument on the OP's comments and not assuming that she is trying to fool the forum.

By your own admission, you are not. You are digging yourself into a big hole now!

What I don't understand here is why you don't believe the OP, she said she wasn't given another receipt so why not believe her.

People come here for help and if they say the slightest wrong thing you all jump on them. They are not making up stories so try to help people not ridicule them. If you have to give them bad news do it in a polite manner.

It could be said that you are all attacking me here, but I'm big enough and ugly enough to take it, many people are not.

No, it couldn't. We are simply pointing out that you are incapable of admitting when you are wrong! :rotfl:

As was done in posts #2 & #3 before the OP started becoming dismissive and defensive.
